Staying at the Old Coach Road Guest House for almost 4 weeks. Nice place to be, felt safe all the time. I really liked the breakfast and dinner. We always got something different for dinner and that was very pleasing. My wish to not have egg for breakfast was always respected and I even got a special treat like waffles.... More

The hospitality was wonderful and very friendly and the breakfast was substantial. However, I felt the accommodation was very overpriced for what we got. But it is set in a beautiful location, peaceful and picturesque.

I Had a good connection with Lilli the hostess since I called to make a reservation for DB&B. Rooms are comfortable and I appreciated the heated blanket for the cold winter weather. No TV or hair dryer in the room. Limited in-room coffee & tea amenities. This place is out-of-town and exactly what I wanted. Opt to have dinner at... More

We spent one night at the Old Coach on our way down to Kruger. Our first visit to the area and it is stunning. The Old Coach is a little run down, but quaint. We had dinner (home cooked simple fare) and a very ordinary breakfast. Overall the stay was wonderful and as a bonus that night we were treated... More

This guest house is a very good choice in the Barberton region. Beautiful located in the Barberton nature reserve. My wife and I stayed 2 nights. We slept in their nice and comfortable rondnavel. Oore the very friendly dog is 'included' in the reasonable price. The 6 hours hike together with her in the oldest mountains on earth were just... More

Nice location - in the middle of the bush! With a great pool under trees. A convenient and reasonably priced place to stay when you travel through Barberton - with easy access to the Kruger National Park. Rooms are okay - unfortunately, no mosquito-nets. We only stayed for one night - so cannot say much about the larger environment and... More

I loved that place!! We found it by chance on our way to the Kruger Park and supposed to stay there only overnight but ended up staying for 4 days. The young couple who manage it was just so welcoming and friendly plus I loved the place itself. The panorama of the surrounding mountain was just magical and it really... More

We found this hotel in the Rough Guide and booked it on our way through Barberton. In the guide it said the property was lovely, and the land is, but the house itself isn't. We stayed for one night and didn't get a particularly friendly greeting when we arrived. The room itself was cold and quite sadly furnished. The fixtures... More
