We stayed in Addo for 2 nights. We stayed in a forest cabin with 4 beds (although we were with the 2 of us) and we had a really great time here. The cabins are very neat, they have utensils, there is a communal kitchen with a microwave. Unfortunately we had quite a lot of rain, so we couldn't use... More

We stayed in the forest cabins and my parents stayed in a cottage. This camp is better than most rest camps in the Kruger Park and the accommodation was very comfortable. Heating was a very welcome feature during our winter visit. The cattle baron restaurant had a good menu but staff were a little slow. Gift shop has the standard... More

This is your average NP camp site, it has a bar, restaurant, nice ablutions blocks, a game viewing point and a shop. The camping ground is however very small and crowded. No chance of any privacy here and if your a light sleeper bring ear plugs.

We booked in for two nights at the rondavels overlooking the water hole in what is known both as the main or rest camp. On arrival we were greeted by two enormous elephants at the water hole. We were extremely lucky but it made spending that bit extra on the rondavels worthwhile. The rondavels also look out into the bush... More

Even though so close to civilization, Addo Main Camp has something magic. More than a camp, it feels like a village in the bush. We spent 2 nights in a CH2S chalet (semi-detached, there are 2 chalets per building with a lot of privacy), which is near the fence, and there were buffalos eating right at the fence at dusk.... We stayed three nights in Addo's Main Camp in Chalet #26. Since each chalet has their own unique view and location, it helps to ask some questions about your place. We could not have been happier with ours! It was very private, as we could not see into any other units (we could hear our neighbors, though infrequently, since these... More

Addo is a park Ive always wanted to return to from when I was a child. It was lovely to do this with my wife and it was great. We staying in the Forest Cabins which were clean and comfortable for our 2 nights. We went out on game drive and found 2 males lions and my favourite Jackal, Yellow... More

We stayed for one night in a chalet. It was lovely, spotlessly clean, lovely crisp white bed linen and towels. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. It was well equipped for self catering. It had a porch where we could sit and relax and take in the peace and quiet and pretty scenery. The chalet also had a TV... More

We stayed for 2 nights in 1 of 6 rondavels at Addo. These little huts are beautifully positioned overlooking a watering hole. We were in number 6 which was a little low to see the water but we could see the animals on the slopes around. There is a veranda with seating and a fridge which was wonderful for sundowners.... A great place really. Bungalows dotted around the estate, simply furnished and comfortable. We had a two bedroom one with small kitchen and verandah overlooking the Addo and animals wandering by (we got woken at 5am to lion growling outside). The main central area of the rest camp has a watering hole, hides and a restaurant and bar (food was... More
