My family and I stayed there for several nights the last week in August but checked out early because of the gross conditions. We took cold showers for our whole stay, slept on the most disgusting linen. They had the cheapest toilet paper and shampoo all made in China. My son got a reaction from the cheap shampoo so be... Went there for a long weekend in August. The room had good space, but way overpriced. Beware of $18 per day "weekend charge" that is not included in the rate I was told. For nearly $300 per night, I expect better quality. The pool is only open from 9-6. The hotel has the absolute cheapest supplies; soap, toilet paper, towels.... More

The Bal Harbour has a superb location, looks great from the outside, with the apearance of a true 4 or even 5 Star hotel, and an exterior decor and pool that are vastly superior to the typical Wildwood Crest hotel/motel. Even the name with the British spelling of "Harbour" implies "posh". The problem however is the exterior of the building... More

Our last minute decision to take a trip to the beach was made possible by the wonderful staff at the Bal Harbour. Even though we were only looking for two nights, they made me feel that they really valued our business. They went above trying to make my quick trip request work. At first we were offered a two night... More

My husband and I have stayed at the Bal Harbour Hotel twice, this was our third visit to the hotel. We booked last minute and stayed in the Dolphin Building (building behind the main hotel). We were a bit skeptical because we have never stayed in this building. The room was great. One private bedroom and one semi-private bedroom. The... More

After searching the internet for hotels for a short, midweek stay, we decided on the Bal Harbour in Wildwood. The website boasts that it is a luxurious resort. For $285 per night, we experienced the worse 2 nights of our lives and checked out a day early. Mattresses: (both twins and queen) felt like a box spring, we would have... More

After reading the mixed reviews we were skeptical - SO GLAD WE DIDN'T LISTEN !! From beginning to end our visit was a pleasure !!! We stayed August 3rd & 4th and we loved it ! The front desk staff was soooo great and gracious- helping with any request we had. The rooms were spotless, nice & cool with the... More

We stayed there for 2 nights. We were in the main part of the resort with a private balcony looking over the street/ocean. I loved the view and sitting outside at night. Seconds away from the beach and the trolley stop down to the boardwalk. Great option if you dont want to drive and pay $20 for parking. The restaurant... More

Our family stayed at the Bal Harbour in July of this year (2014) We weren't looking for anything special on our 2-night stay as we were there for a soccer tournament. The Gazebo room we stayed in seemed old and outdated. Our door squeaked very loudly and I blame myself for that not being addressed because it was difficult to... More

My wife & I booked a 3 day last minute stay there as our friends were staying at Seapointe Village (where we normally go) a mile south of the Bal Harbor. 2 BR efficiency for $315 / night. Based on reviews we had read prior to our stay; my wife & I knew we would not being staying at the... More
