Where do I start? This hotel was absolutely disgusting. We had the E6 room layout and it was ridiculous. One shower was alright looking but the bathroom door didn't lock. The other shower was so unbelievably gross, I wore my sandals when I took a shower. Plus, the shower door didn't close all of the way. The lighting was terrible... More

This was our first time at the Bal Harbour after vacationing in Wildwood for 37 years. The location is great being right on the beach. This area of the Crest is very nice, clean and quiet. A little too quite. There is not one store, deli, bakery, etc. for blocks and blocks. The hotel itself was satisfactory. Nice coffee shop,... More

Pros: large, we had a "gazebo" room... Nice and quiet, clean. 2 bathrooms were a blessing. The front desk was very friendly. Pool area was immaculate. Easy parking Cons: Having the accordion door between the beds was great, but opening and closing it was so loud that we couldn't leave it closed. . There was a coffee machine, but if... More

We did not experience any smell or cleanliness issues as other reviews. However, the threadbare towels and linens, rock hard bed as well as dresser drawers which did not work have led to the 2 star review. You are basically paying a premium for being on the ocean block, which is the only reason why I chose this property. Also... More

Maybe we were the first folks to use the room this year. Or maybe the management is too concerned with saving energy and turn the AC (dehumidifier) off. If you don't dehumidify, these rooms get musty. The room had some petty signs about conserving energy and not using the AC when not in the room. We chose our room because... More

Stayed here for a last minute trip my husband and I booked with our 2 year old daughter. Room was old, in desperate need of updating. There was an old box TV, gross carpets that we didn't want to walk barefoot on, slimy shower curtain, uncomfortable bed and worse. Will not be staying here again.

First and foremost, room basics: Extremely outdated rooms; also found a lot of dirt, dust, and filth. The lobby smells like a hospital but the rooms smell like funk. There were cobwebs and stains on the walls. The air conditioner had NO settings it was either on and freezing or off and hot (despite there being a thermostat on the... More

Booked room 417 at the Bal Harbour for a last minute beach getaway with my teenage daughter, and I probably overpaid for the room! But decided to go thru with it anyway. The good: free parking, elevators, great views, balcony, clean pool area, very easy beach access, free beach access, gorgeous and clean wide beaches, life guards on duty, quiet area,... More

We booked this room through "Booking.com" only to find out that if you book by phone directly with the hotel, the rate is way less. However our primary concern and expectation was to find a "clean room ,ocean view". The room was "Ocean View", but not "Clean" at All". As soon as you enter the room you feel a terrible... More

After checking in we brought our luggage to our room and as soon as we opened the door a "Smelly Odor" ,probably coming from the old floor carpets, invaded our senses. We felt as if there was mold all around and did not appreciate the old, obsolete, furniture and wall cracks. We went back to the lobby to complain. We were... More
