Thanks companion and I were looking for a place to stay in Wildwood. We tried a couple of the budget hotels But were unimpressed. we finally settled on Newport Beach Resort. Kathy was on duty at the front desk and was very pleasant. We got a single bed in a room on the second floor. the rooms were clean, there... More

I like the 50's theme Wildwood is going for, but at least update the rooms. There are gaps in the doors to the rooms. The balcony door was rocking back and forth when it was windy and making noise all night & letting the cold air in the room. You could hear everything outside like it was in your room.... More

Stayed again at our favorite hotel in Wildwood, NJ Newport Beach Resort. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Walk to beach. Near Boardwalk, but not near the noise. Great place to stay with children. George P. Kriss & family

My name is Joni H. I go their with my friends Debbie, Keli and Brian. We are always treated very well by the staff Kelly, Tracy and Nick. The maid service is always very friendly too.The hotel is very clean. This hotel is priced very well. I enjoy eating at Mack's Pizza on the boardwalk with my friends. Or I... More

This is bit old property but worth staying. Budget hotel with amazing view of seashore . Generally rooms are smalls but we have booked king size room which had jakoozi in it. Breakfast was fine . Best place to stay in Newport.

This place is terrible! It has one elevator, which frequently gets stuck, horrible beds, lousy bathrooms, etc. I had to stay there with a group for the Barbershop Harmony Convention. Unfortunately, it really wrecked our trip. Never Again!

The staff is always friendly, close to board walk and beach. Management is always willing to accommodate your needs. The kids love the pool and beach and its handy to restaurants and family entertainment, within walking distance to these places. Our family has been going to Newport Beach Resort for many years and always look forward to going back each... More

Once again, The Newport Beach Resort didn't let us down. We arrived Thursday in time for the Labor Day festivities. We arrived a little early, and one of our rooms wasn’t quite ready, because the occupants of the room the night before, decided to trash the room. The maid apologized for any inconvenience, but she wanted to make sure the... More

We have been staying here for many years. The staff is friendly. The location is great for the convention. There are many places to eat at. The boardwalk is across the street. The maid service was good. The hotel was quiet. They have a pool on location, not heated but nice. Our overall experience was great.

Tiny room, barely big enough for path around the bed.tiny bathroom, could barely sit on toilet. Old rusty fixtures. Nasty dirty a/c. Was afraid to sleep for fear of creepy crawlers, being bitten. No outlets for cell chargers, etc. TV remote did not work. All this for $182 /night! Giant ripoff! Look elsewhere, don't believe website or brochure
