The hotel was under renovation during our stay but the staff was excellent. When our rental car had a flat in the parking lot and the car folks said it would take a day to fix, Stacy, at the front desk, hooked us up with a local tire shop that did the job in a few hours, then refused payment... So my husband planned a romantic night away for me. I have stayed at the Somerset Hills Hotel many of times before. What a shock to see that the room was only 99 dollars. Well comes to be the hotel is doing renovation on certain floors, but the room we stayed in was not all that "romantic". The bathroom had... More

under renovation, this hotel may be very nice a year from now. Currently it is very tired and dark. There are other hotels in the area that are much more pleasant. That said, the staff were good and it's clear they are making an effort.

You can tell this hotel was once nice but it has lost it's luster. It is very dated with spring mattresses, very poor lighting, and slow elevators. They did a good job of keeping everything clean but there was still staining and grime that has accumulated over the years. With every light on in the suite, it was still hard... More

This is a near-luxury hotel in the middle of nowhere (at least, nothing close by for me). The basic infrastructure, the rooms were excellent (large, clean, comfortable, etc.); tho the hotel was lacking in luxury amenities; no pool for example. So, to be clear: let's manage expectations; this is not a deluxe spa resort destination. From the road, it looks... More

Listen, a day trip to HERSEY Park in HERSEY, PA was a fun-filled, spontaneous adventure for myself and my cousin; we could not have picked a better day to go. BUT WE SHOULD HAVE CHECKED THE WEATHER REPORT FOR THE EVENING WEATHER. So after a perfect day of exploring and learning about Mr. Hersey and his wonderful world of everything... More

I visited this hotel last week and the place was a mess. It was under construction. There were mattresses in the hall ways. The decor looked like it came out of the 1980's and it even smelled old. The higher management was not very nice. Had to speak with them because my room was not worth the 150 dollars. I... More

My wife and I recently spent one night here as part of a wedding group. We have been in hotels all over the U.S. and Europe for business and tourist travel, so we know what to expect of a hotel of any class. This one has excellent curb appeal and is far enough from the main road so that street... More

Someone forgot they were in the "Hospitality" business. At almost $150.00 per night for the decor of decades paste and the current remodel "In Progress " The price was very high, the best part of this place was the curb appeal of the front. For a Saturday this place was kind of a ghost town and didn't see many people... More

This is a nice traditional property, but very poorly run. My room was nice enough and clean, but outdated décor and a one-cup coffee maker that didn't even include enough supplies to make a second cup was a non-starter. I was highly offended when I was charged $16.00 for a single malt scotch that is commonly served other places for... More
