This is a fine option for sleeping in this part of Northern New Jersey. Room rate was $75 for a double. The room was basic, but immaculate. Try to avoid #14, which is immediately facing Hwy 17, due to highway noise. I bring ear plugs. Book early for a non-smokng double.

Great price for a clean, quiet room. The Wi-Fi works and the beds are firm leading to smart stay well worth the price. This was my fifth stay (four nights this time) and I will gladly book my next stay there as I awoke refreshed and well rested each morning.

The fair was a pleasant surprise.Room rates are unbelievable. The rooms are clean and the staff, especially Michael , are friendly and welcoming. No, it's not the Hilton but for value and safety it's super

Stayed here when we were at a friends wedding in the area. Very clean rooms, pretty good service and accommodating when we had to check in late because of the time of the wedding. We saved a chunk not staying at the wedding hotel but got just as good accommodation here. Our room had a queen bed and was in... More

Stayed here for two nights. Was told rooms are $63 a night if you pay cash and $65 if you use a credit card. I called two other places on route 17 all in Ramsey or USR and this motel and one other were 65 and the third was around $80. [Pros]: # had an issue & the owner apologized... More

I stayed overnight at the Fair Motel and the name was quite appropriate. I had a non smoking double room that was clean and large. There was a flat screen TV with free cable, a fridge and a microwave, and free Wi-Fi with good coverage. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable room at a fair price and with... More

The room we got, facing Route 17, really stank of mildew and the noise of passing traffic was terrible - beyond anything that ear plugs could stop. The carpet was utterly filthy - if you are foolish enough to walk on it with bare feet (as we did) take a look and your soles will be black. Also I find... More

Exactly what I was looking for in a place to stay. When I travel to Ramsey for work, I tend to wake early and return late. As such, I am looking for a quiet place to lay my head at the end of the day. At first I was hesitant, but I got a room in the back and was... More

Important things to know about the Fair Motel. Pro: The room we had was clean and comfortable, and relatively modern. Small flatscreen TV on the wall. Beds, dresser, table and two straight chairs. Microwave, Refrigerator. There's lots of parking in the back. The price of $63 was probably the lowest on Rt 17 in that area. That said, there are... More
