We're already planning for next year! Recently stayed here for two nights and it really was fantastic. The room was lovely (we stayed in Room #1) although the traffic noise was a little loud (there were ear plugs furnished by the Inn already in the room). The traffic did settle down at night so it wasn't that big of a... More

We recently had the opportunity to stay here last weekend (7/11/14-7/13/14) & I find it very hard to put into words what a truly wonderful & amazing place this is. The inn itself is extremely beautiful, clean, well kept, & beautifully decorated, and yet we felt so comfortable & at home here that it was so very relaxing. The owners,... More

This is an amazing B&B. The owners, Lorenzo & Catherine are so welcoming, genuinely enjoy their visitors. The breakfasts are beyond scrumptious and refreshing with fresh fruit; breakfast cake; Catherine's homemade jams are WOW!! Lorenzo w/cook up & create various home cooked breakfast entrees' i.e. French Toast, Omelet lightly filled w/Mozzarella Cheese, organic grown herbs. Let's say, I've never tasted... More

We were visiting friends in the area and needed a place to stay for several days. Lucky for us, this pleasant B&B was located nearby and provided a wonderful place to serve as our home base. The house is easy to find and park at, and surprisingly quiet being on the main road through Tuckerton. My wife and I stayed... More

Travelers seeking an off-beach Jersey Shore experience combined with personal touches should consider J.D. Thompson Inn, southern Ocean County. Innkeepers Catherine and Lorenzo are kind and gracious hosts who provide great leads on the best local restaurants and activities, as well as made-from-scratch, made-with-love breakfasts.Their midweek packages also keep this cozy mid-1850s stagecoach inn competitive with area chain hotels. We stayed for the third time at this very charming B & B in Tuckerton in early May. We always enjoy the great hospitality and friendliness of the owners, Catherine and Lorenzo, who welcome us like family. This time we stayed in room #1, which we believe is the largest room in the house. It is tastefully decorated and nicely... More

This is a wonderful B&B located in Tuckerton. Room was tastefully decorated, clean and Catherine's hospitality was first class. This was our overnight stop on the MS Coast to Coast bike ride. Enjoyed a restful night. Breakfast was self serve with everything you needed. On the expensive side, but well worth it!

I booked a two night stay to celebrate my husbands birthday. Our check in date turned out to be a cold and snowy day. Katherine ( the owner ) called and emailed me to offer me the option of cancelling without any penalties because of the weather, which was very nice. We came in anyway, and we were glad we... More

Stayed here for our first wedding anniversary. I wanted a place with comfortable beds near wildlife refuges and easy driving distance to beach. The bed was very comfortable, and tastefully chosen antique furniture was a bonus. Another big bonus was all the information from the owner for local touring. She offered this info from the very first reservation email and... More
