We heard Sandy was scheduled to hit New Jersey, and my wonderful husband got reservations for a week here and a week at another hotel in an adjacent town. The day Sandy left, we picked our way through the downed trees and power lines to Glenpointe. The property manager and his staff were already at work. Working off a generator,... More

Hurricane Sandy was an event that many in this area have ever seen. We prepared as much as we could and when our power also ran out, we did everything we could to do things in a safe and orderly fashion. Many of our staff never even left the hotel during this time; giving a level of dedication that I... More

The price is reasonable, I believe this is due to the location of the hotel. The place is very comfortable and quiet. You will not be bothered by the crowd as it happens in Times Square. The service is good and they serve a nice breakfast!

I grew up in northern NJ, so I am familiar with the areas in and around NYC better than most. Each year, we take a family trip to NYC for the holidays to see all the decorations, lights, shopping, etc. You can stay in downtown NYC, and spend a MIN of $300/night (more likely well over $400 during the holiday... My sister and I stayed here as a part of a NYC shopping bus tour. The adventures in Manhatten were exciting and exhausting, so it was especially nice to come back to a quiet serene place to unwind. We got conflicting information about where we could get coffe in the morning. There was only decaf in the room and I... More

Planned an overnight with my granddaughter before seeing a show in NYC . Then.....hurricane Sandy, kept my plans. Had dinner and breakfast in the hotel as most of Teaneck was blacked out and wasting gas was a concern, Saturday morning, upon leaving, I saw a tour bus. I asked if that bus was going into NYC. The doorman told me... More

I stayed here for four nights in October 2012. The room I had was spacious, clean and the bedding -including pillows - was all very comfortable. I didn't go home fatigued and aching of poor sleep like I do from some hotel stays. The walls are on the thin side, and on the busier nights I heard my neighbors more... More

Stayed here for work. Rooms were nice and spacious-- which is a big deal for the NYC area! There was some construction happening while we were there to the entrance but it wasn't a big deal. The restaurant downstairs was having samplings at dinner both nights we were there which was nice as well. The only con, which is something... More

Part of the hotel was under renovation so no gift shop for odds and ends. Not usually a problem but the hotel is very isolated from any shopping unless you have a vehicle. Other than that very nice hotel with big rooms.

Every time we stay at the Teaneck Marriott we're impressed with the people who work there and how convenient it is to everything. From the front desk to the lounge to the restaurant, we couldn't have experienced more attentive, friendly and professional service. We are especially fond of Carol on the waitstaff who makes us feel so welcome at breakfast,... More
