While I agree that there are a lot of seasonal sites, it was still nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We throughly enjoyed the activities that weekend. Very different from other campgrounds. Pig chasing, petting zoo. They also have a horseshoeing exhibit, sheep shearing and other farm type fun. I know this isn't for everyone, but we found... More

This is our third and probably last stay. Our site this time was located way down in the back. Nice wooded areas. However, poison ivy runs rampant throughout. I understand it's the woods and PI happens but there is such an overwhelming volume of it along the roads in the back that it was tricky to walk the dogs, and... More

I love the concept of this campground but the majority of the sites are seasonal and not well maintained. Beautiful views and the pool and pavilion are very nice. We traveled with 3 other families and we had our own little section just for the 4 of us that was nice.

While the activities were ok for the kids, this campground does not have many camper sites, most of the campground is filled with permanent type trailers. There are no trash cans/dumpsters in the main campground area- you have to drive to dump your trash.

We were a family of 4, new owners of our first RV, looking for a close-by weekend destination to try out our new rig! Pleasant Acres had an opening for us over Labor Day weekend 2013. We jumped on it. This turned out to be a terrific, safe, family-friendly getaway. A seasonal spot, not cared for, was vacated and cleared... More

This is a hidden gem in the kittatiny mountains. Beautiful landscape. Huge sites. Super friendly seasonal and transient campers. Everyone is so pleasant. The staff cannot do enough for you. During the week is different dinners in the pavilion. Bring a side dish and some conversation and have a great time meeting other campers. Close to lots of things to... More

We started going to Pleasant Acres Campground 15-20 years ago for Memorial and Labor Day weekends when our boys we toddlers and young children. We had a pop-up camper at the time. We choose it and returned to it repeatedly through the years, and now in recent years have begun camping with our next generation of grown nephews with their... More

Okay, I have been reviewing my campgrounds for as much me as everyone else. This way if I forget I an see what it was like. This campground has about 300 site but only 50 are for transient campers. And as for the seasonal people there, some of the sites/units are very badly taken care of weeds everywhere and some... More

There were more permanent trailers there than actual campers. There is no cable not a problem for me but my friends were not pleased. There was a "dog run" that was full of big dog poop. My husband cleaned up 21 bags of poop so our little poodles could run without get poopy all over them! GROSS!!! We complained to... More

The place is extremely nice, the cabins are clean, up to date, and very comfortable. HOWEVER, we were hounded several times by what we called the "fun police". During the afternoon we were playing catch with a football and then told that we could not play in the street because it was a common area. There is also a rule... More
