This quaint small-town campground was the perfect backdrop for our weekend outdoor getaway. Fire pits, bird feeders, petting zoos, and fishing lakes made for great entertainment and the hosts provide activities and even free breakfasts on Saturdays! Also a short drive away from beautiful High Point State park! As bird watchers, my girlfriend and I couldn't have been more pleased... More

We love Pleasant Acres Farm Campground, it's a bit over an hour away from our home so it's easy for us to still get a weekend away after a work week. The views are spectacular, there is a nice dog park, a very friendly and helpful staff and plenty of things to do for you, your children or grandchildren. The... More

My family and I have been coming to PA for years. We would come in August every year, ranging from 5-10 days. We always felt it like a home away from home. We camp in a travel trailer and have finally gotten to the point of looking for a seasonal, and to no longer tow. We went back to PA... More

I am very sorry that your son’s bicycle was stolen. Unfortunately, things like this can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time. I understand you being upset because it happened to you, especially here at Pleasant Acres where you felt safe. We have always taken every precaution to prevent such things, including a gated entrance, regular security patrols, and a... More

I went to this campground thinking it was not going to be that great. When I first got there a bald headed young man behind the counter snapped at me for standing right inside the front door with my 10 pound dog in hand. I was in car and could not leave me dog in the car our tie him... More

We visited this campground off season. It was very clean but not a lot of activities. Kids were kinda bored. The animals were a fun distraction but it didn't last long enough. Might have been a great in the season, but off season there were a lot of older seasonal campers and not any young families with kids. We wouldn't... More

Don't listen to any bad reviews. This place is a gem. Clean , organized and friendly staff and seasonal campers couldn't be nicer. Even stopping to chat about where to eat locally. Amazing dog park with gorgeous views! All around amazing place. Couldn't ask for more!

They offer a petting zoo of the baby animals which my kids were thrilled about!!! Rabbits, goats, miniature horses and sheep. There are also 3 seperate corrals: goats and sheep, cows and miniature horses, and ducks and goats. And the views from the pool and pavilion are outstanding!!!!

While I agree that there are a lot of seasonal sites, it was still nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We throughly enjoyed the activities that weekend. Very different from other campgrounds. Pig chasing, petting zoo. They also have a horseshoeing exhibit, sheep shearing and other farm type fun. I know this isn't for everyone, but we found... More

This is our third and probably last stay. Our site this time was located way down in the back. Nice wooded areas. However, poison ivy runs rampant throughout. I understand it's the woods and PI happens but there is such an overwhelming volume of it along the roads in the back that it was tricky to walk the dogs, and... More

I love the concept of this campground but the majority of the sites are seasonal and not well maintained. Beautiful views and the pool and pavilion are very nice. We traveled with 3 other families and we had our own little section just for the 4 of us that was nice.
