The Debary is a great choice if you are tired of chain hotels and don't want to pay 5-star prices. you'll want to read your check in instructions before you travel as the reception is not always manned. Also heed teh warnings to park in the lot and not on the side street. The hotel has many rooms and the... More

I stayed here for 3 nights whilst travelling to the area on busines. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was also very good with fresh breads and fruit every day. Location is easy to get to via road or rail (approx 10 min walk to Summit train station which links to Penn... More

I grew up in the area and know it well. This is the third time I have needed a "non-home" place to stay and it was definitely the best. Lovely room. Great bathroom. A lot is "self-serve" like check in and breakfast, but that works fine. Parking off street was challenging some nights. Good thing I was in a wee... More

I booked my room through Hotels.com and at the time I had no idea that I had booked a room in a B&B. I was travelling on business and normally stay in traditional business hotels but the recommended hotel was booked solid so I had to go search out a different place for my stay. I booked this place totally... More

Very disappointing. Seems to be geared toward business travelers, keeping human contact to a minimum. The inn keeper kept us waiting at the front desk for a good 15 minutes while on the phone. Barely could get a good morning from him at breakfast while he sat in the parlor watching TV. We stayed in Room #5, and the furniture... More

I have been staying at a local hotel for the past 5 years, until stumbling upon this gem. Great people, wonderful room and in a perfect location. If you travel and want a break from the high rise, you simply cannot go wrong with DeBary Inn. See you guys next time!

We were put in the servants quarters (a room off the kitchen). Small, no alarm clock, and the only control for the air conditioner was a remote control kept at the front desk that was shared by all the other guests. We will never stay there again!

We are very sorry to read that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We advise all guests in our reservation confirmation that, when feasible, we will gladly upgrade their room at no additional cost. At The DeBary Inn, we work very hard to ensure that each guest has a wonderful stay, unfortunately, sometimes that is impossible. We hope... More

We've been looking to add some variety to our stays, thought we would try this inn and glad we did. The inn itself is about 130 years old, nice character to the building, and well updated. Our room was on the first floor, spacious and well set up, comfortable stay. A continental breakfast, not a full, but we had plans... More

The room was very clean. The inn is close to NYC and made a great stopping point on our trip. It is close to the downtown Summit area so it was an easy walk to find dinner, which we enjoyed on the lovely porch! Continental breakfast was adequate. Would have liked more sweets though!

We had a quick over night at this very lovely inn 8/8/14. The inn is beautifully appointed and quite comfortable. We like the use of minisplits for AC, as they are quiet and provide an even temperature. We stayed in room 7 and it was very nicely decorated and we slept well. The bathroom had just a shower which was... More
