This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and the Woolverton Inn exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast and the afternoon snacks were fantastic. It was a wonderful quiet getaway. My wife and I especially enjoyed sitting on the back porch where we played cards to about midnight.

This is a great property, a true gem located in one of the most beautiful places in New Jersey. I love that this beautiful farm with a great history, is preserved & is run as a first class inn. The cottage are so sweet & private, they have a wonderful view of rolling farm land & the sheep really are... More

For $400/night I expected a lot more. Although the grounds are lovely, the accommodations were less than satisfying. The building is old and unkempt. The hallways have an odor and need to be aired out, and the rooms are small. Additionally, the temperature in the room could not be controlled and was way too cold for sleeping. The snacks were... Thank you for taking the time to express your opinions of your recent stay at the Woolverton Inn. We are very sorry that your stay did not live up to your expectations. The building was built in 1792 which when you refer to it as old, you are absolutely correct. When you refer to it as unkempt I really do... More

We've visited twice now - once we stayed in the Hunterdon Cottage and last summer we stayed in the Cotswald. Both had wonderful accommodations, appointments, bedding, two-person shower and bath. The food is wonderful and the innkeeper is great, warm and resourceful. The inn is walking distance to a few restaurants and several hikes. You can also drive about 10... More

The Woolverton is a terrific Inn. We just spent two nights in their Hunterdon Cottage which is uniquely special. I would recommend the cottages highly and I must say the bed was heavenly . The grounds are lovely and they have sheep on the premises which are fun to watch. EWE will love it...sorry. Breakfast is served in the main... More

We are thrilled that you had such a wonderful stay at the Woolverton Inn. The views and the grounds are tranquil and the sheep bring a special charm to the property. We serve breakfast on the porch and patio in the warmer months and breakfast can be brought to your room anytime of the year. We’re looking forward to your... More

This is a beautiful historic home converted to an inn with comfortable rooms with fabulious character. A quiet, bucolic setting - sheep and goats graving in the back garden. Wonderful fresh-baked snacks in the evening, and a four-star bearfast in the morning. WiFi worked perfectly, but there is no TV. Be aware that the rooms on the third floor are... More

Thanks for taking the time to write a review on your recent stay. You are correct that the rooms on the third floor are not suited for folks that have a problem with stairs. Great advise to travelers to inquire what floor rooms are on. Thanks again for staying at the Inn. More

We finally had an opportunity to stay at the Woolverton Inn in Stockton, NJ. It exceeded our expectations in all aspects..friendly staff, beautiful grounds, set in a scenic locale, hot breakfast served to you either outside on the patio or porch, or inside if your prefer..The rooms within the Inn are yes, older and more rustic..that's what we enjoy...more modern... My husband and I booked a night at the Woolverton Inn for a special overnight anniversary getaway in conjunction with a balloon ride we had booked in the area. We believe that this is one of the nicest B&B's in the country. Any room you select is going to be stunning and comfortable. We stayed in the Inn itself (as compared to a cottage) and were welcomed like family. The furnishings were wonderful and we had a great porch to sit and enjoy the springtime idyllic view. Breakfast was... More
