I was married in July of 2009 at a nearby chapel and restaurant. My nearly 50 guests and I stayed at this Holiday Inn. The staff is exceptionally personable and helpful. The adjacent restaurant - the Happy Sombrero - is very good. The rooms were very clean and well kept. The hotel was a beautiful hotel in and of itself.... more

The beds were small and very uncomfortable. The room was slightly above motel quality. The rooms really need to be updated. The doors are from the 70's as well as the decor. For the price of the room, I expected much, much more. If I were not so tired, I would have checked out as soon as I checked in.... more

This is a typical roadside motel/hotel so, yes, it is a little worn but that is what you get these days. My problem was with the towels. The first night we had 2 sets of towels. The next we were given one set and we shared it, leaving a note for the maid to leave two. She did not leave... more

We were very disappointed with this hotel. Were in the area visiting family for the holidays and this hotel was runned- down. It is in desperate need of a complete overhaul. Rooms were dingy, carpet worn in the rooms as well as hallways and restaurant. Had an overall appearance of management and owners not caring. Most of the staff was... more

Big bonus - hotel is a short walk from a bus stop into New York Center - so you can stay out of the hustle bustle and cost of a NY city hotel, just 1 hr into Times square bus station. Was in area for one week. This seemed like a good choice. Typical souless Holiday Inn. Had a room... more

I stayed here because it was close to a client I was visiting. Desk service was friendly. Rooms were OK. Halls and other public areas were a bit run down. Lot's of noise coming from the other rooms. Breakfast was included but buffet area was small and cramped. Table service was slow and indifferent. more

I stayed at this hotel because it was located near my client. I arrived after working all day and was not particularly greeted by the front desk staff, nor was I asked about a wake-up call. When I arrived on my floor and walked to the room, I found that the very thin carpet had been laid directly onto the... more

I stay here once or twice a year when I need to visit family and friends back in NJ (I grew up in Westfield, one town over). This place used to be fine, but has gone downhill in recent hears. I think they're about due for a renovation. There always seems to be some raucous group staying there, with a... more

We recently stayed here after a wedding. We have stayed at many Holiday Inns before and this one was by far the dirtiest I have ever seen. The shower was terribly dirty and rusty. There was a non-slip mat in the shower and when you turned the water on you could see the dirt pouring out from under it. I... more

This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I travel on business quite frequently and this has to be one of the most accomodating hotels. The staff is extremely friendly. They always make a point to say hello whenever they see me. I see them doing this with other staff as well. Even the... more
