My life-partner & I have vacationed up & down the Jersey Shore for over 12 years, though for the last 8 years we have found that the peace, beauty & tranquility of Spring Lake is just what we need…since first coming to Spring Lake in 2006 we had always stayed at a very beautiful Bed & Breakfast near the beach…however,... My husband and I made reservations at the Morning Dove in Belmar for 3 nights and upon arrival I find out they did not have me in the books. I called around and the Evergreen Inn saved me. Although the beach is further than we like (parking was not a problem though) we had a wonderful time. Laurie and her... More

The Evergreen was romantic the ambiance fanatic and the staff made you feel like their family who was invited to stay a few days. They were fun, easy to talk with and full of great suggestions for fun and food locations. The rooms are themed and positively gorgeous w/balconies jacuzzis, cable, free movies, etc. OMG can not say enough about this... More

My wife and I have made it a regular vacation with Laurie at the Evergreen Inn! We've stayed in many of the rooms and suites, and our favorites are the Mistletoe and the Hollywood suites. All the rooms are unique, and the beds contain the most comfortable sheets I've ever slept in! The staff is always friendly and attentive to... More

A last minute quick getaway for my husband and me led us to the Evergreen Inn. Not much available at the NJ shore at the 23rd hour but we did not regret our stay at the Evergreen! A cozy CLEAN (and I notice these things) house with an AMAZING breakfast (award-winning we learned), lots of "nice-ities" like an honor bar... More

We had a busy week, NYC, family reunion, family beach day, we just want a quiet, comfortable, accommodating night to ourselves. Lucky us ,we found the Evergreen Inn on the internet. We called the Inn made the reservation. The most difficult thing was deciding on which one of the three great looking rooms suited us. Jasmine, the day manager, was... More

I called to book a one-night stay, After asking the front-desk representative three times whether or not I could book a room for one night, and after she took my contact and credit card information over the phone, I was told that the booking would be impossible and that the manager would call me. After having to call the manager... More

It is the policy of the Evergreen Inn to simply hang up in the extremely rare instances that callers become threatening or use profanity. I am here to provide a ray of sunshine to guests - happily I have gotten to do that every single day for 18 glorious seasons at the sunny Jersey Shore! :-) Laurie More

Everything about this inn is the way it should be. The employees are all outstandingly happy and cheerful, which must be a reflection of management. I got the Lover's Leap package, which includes champagne and a bouquet of flowers. Even though the flowers arrived after we did, we were happy and surprised to see flower pedals all over the floor... I booked the Evergreen Inn over the July 4th holiday for 3 nights because of what I read on tripadvisor. My wife and I could not be happier with our choice. Laurie and her staff are incredible. They cater to your every need. The location is perfect (6 blocks from the beach), breakfast was awesome (my wife is a vegan... More

It's true what everyone on this site has said... Laurie and her staff are wonderful, accomodating, informative, and very welcoming. The inn is positively charming. And, the breakfast is delicious and bountiful, BUT... only on the weekends. We stayed for 3 nights, and found out on Monday morning that there's no breakfast during the week. What?!? Isn't this a bed... More

I’d certainly like to graciously accept any compliment calling me and my staff amazing. Who doesn’t want to be amazing at what they do? Yay!! Buuuuuutttt…. The rest of this review has my stomach twisting First of all, I have no record of anyone from Ramsey staying with us for 3 nights in April, May or June. This reviewer left... More
