This is really an excellent hotel at an excellent value. As others note, it has real character. Part of the reason is that years ago this was a big, old sprawling Holiday Inn. But unlike some of these properties that were sold, this is kept in really nice condition. Wifi was EXCELLENT and they had a good continental breakfast. You'll... More

I usually stay here twice a year while visiting the area. This is NOT your TOP NOTCH motel but it's clean & although it's a bit outdated, the front desk staff is very friendly. They do offer a free continental breakfast which consists of orange juice, Apple juice, water, Maxwell House coffee, Danishes, toast & bagels. Simple but not fancy!... More

This is a different sort of hotel, I enjoyed my stay and I do recommend it, but a little clarification before you choose this, or another place, to stay: 1. This place has real personality, it's not a cookie-cutter chain hotel. Some will appreciate the change from the ordinary; others, maybe not; even if the big chain might cost more... More

My family and I were in need of a place to stay for a few weeks between apartments. The staff could not have been more accommodating. The room was large and very clean. The cleaning staff was always helpfull and friendly. The front desk were always able to help with any issue we had. They also are pet friendly. .... More

A quick 2 day visit. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The rooms are well kept, but dated. The bathroom had cracks in the tile and there was rust around the fixtures. But for the price, with a pastry oriented breakfast, it serves its purpose of a decent bed and relaxing room. Was surprised there was no road noise,... More

I had a one night stay here and can say I was disappointed. You don't expect much from an Econo Lodge but they can definitely do better. Filthy bathroom, smelly room, nasty carpeting. I was just really not happy at all. And if you plan on swimming during the weekend forget about it. Check in is at 3...pool closes at... More

We've stayed her 3 times while passing through NJ and always have had a wonderful experience. Close enough to transit to NYC. It older but well maintained. When leaving to get on 287, being there's no U turns allowed except for one, it cam be tricky. Although not advertised, they are PET FRIENDLY.

Nearing the end of my trip I stayed a couple of nights. The hotel was very well priced and idea for what I wanted to do in New Jersey. The room was very good (clean and well maintained). There was a large pool. There seemed to be very few guests, which is a shame as the hotel represented good vale... More

I travel every week to Jersey for business. I have been to a few Econo Lodges, but this one is by far, the most pleasant. It's clean, no smelly rooms, reception desk is awesome. For those who whote negative reviews, I don't know what their expectations were, but you get a good deal for your money here. Nice pool too!... More

My friends and I needed a hotel for the nearby AnimeNEXT convention. I initially booked the Madison Suites hotel nearby, but upon arrival discovered it was condemned by the city of Somerset. More on that on their page, but in our haste to find a new hotel for the weekend we went to this Econo Lodge not a block or... More
