Stayed here with softball team. Staff: very friendly, efficient & fulfilled our every request. When the business center printer broke down, staff let us print on their ofc printer. Had 1-BR suite + sofa bed in living room + kitchen area (regular-sized fridge & range). Quiet room, comfy bed, small bedroom & bath, but spacious closet / vanity area. A... more

Lobby and lounge area are roomy, a little plain but friendly. Breakfast seven days a week (standard buffet) and dinner 3 nights a week with free soda and wine are served here. Free gas grills are provided in the pool area for quest use. Pool is small but clean and hot tub is available during pool hours. Free business center... more

I normally like Staybridge, but this is not their greatest property. First, the place is set up like a suburban garden apartment complex. To get to any room from the lobby means walking outside to one of several other buildings. Not only are all the room doors outside, but there's a feeling of being far from the front desk (those... more

Thank you for your comments. We do appreciate our guests feedacks. The hotel is an exterior hotel with your own separate entrance. This hotel is not a typical Staybridge layout. This specific hotel is a conversion property (used to be Summerfield Suites) If requested in advance and based on availability, we will try to accomdate every request to have the...

Next time I am in Somerset I would prefer a Mariott or Drury Inn or any other property than this one. What's worn with them? Everything..Bad housekeeping, Unhygienic toilets (mildew, mold and the works), non-functioning air-conditioners which took 4 hours to fix and not an apology!! Stay far far away from this property... more

I had a perfectly fine stay at this recently renovated extended stay property, reopened 2 months ago. Previous reviewers seem unnecessarily freaked out. This is a fine location adjacent to other hotels (Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, Courtyard) and right next to a Ruby Tuesdays. All personnel were friendly, and many families stay here. I think it's a nice area easily... more

We had a family reunion in NJ in the summer of 2004. We booked 2-room suite and paid very little for it. The rooms were clean and large. The complimentary breakfast was good. When we were going to the area again in 2005, the hotel was closed to be renovated. Since then, the price had gone up. It is no... more

I stayed here for one night in July 2004 for business. My experience was so bad even I can't believe it a year later. I arrived late around 9 pm. The clerk at the front desk greeted me and then complemented my looks (yes, my physical attributes) even though I was dead-tired and looked terrible and had gotten lost finding... more

Thank you for your feedback and I appreciate your honesty . When you stayed at the hotel back in 2005, the hotel was just taken over by another hotel company. Since that time, our company have improved the quality and the service of the hotel. It was very challenging and my team could honestly say that we have had many...

We stayed at this place in March and as we are coming back in the area in June, would not stay anywhere else. We loved the 2 bedroom suite. Highly recommended. more

I can not comment on the previous two complaints, but I have to tell you that this is our most favorite hotel suites, we used it since it was called Summerfield Suites. We stayed here numerous times for weekend getaway, for birthday parties, for family reunion. My kids grow with this hotel, and it is not far from home. It's... more

We also had a bad experience with the Staybridge Hotel. Don't stay there. Here’s what happened: - We blocked 5 two-bedroom suites for out of town guests attending our wedding on the July 4th, 2004 weekend. - A family of 5 in our party arrived from Germany (where they live) only to find there reservation was messed up. Instead of... more
