If asked to provide a number for Courtyards in general, I would say 88 out of 100. In other words, a nice grocery store wine, cheap, consistent, and very available. On that scale, the Somerset Courtyard gets an 89. It's just a cat hair better than your average Courtyard. Why? Pleasant, accurate front desk, an attached restaurant, better in-house breakfast... more

I was in Somerset for a last minute business trip to the area. I am generally loyal to the Hilton brand but found myself in this Courtyard. The rooms were updated and clean. Stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Somerset, New Jersey for seven days on a business trip and found it to have the best service I have ever encountered at a hotel. All of the staff were extremely friendly and eager to help. When I checked in Vito at the front desk checked me in quickly and was very helpful.... more
