One Saturday, we decided to take a ride to see Historic Smithville and opted to call the Colonial Inn to see if they had reservations so that we could spend the night. As it happened, they had one room left, "in the barn." I said, okay and confirmed the reservation, wondering as I did what "the barn" was going to... More

We just returned from an overnight stay in rm 311 which is located in the building known as "The Barn" and were very happy with our stay. We had planned to stay in one of the casino hotels since we planned to gamble but couldn't find a Saturday night room available for less than $299. We don't go to AC... More

Colonial Inn turned what was almost a bad weekend into a great one. Me and my boyfriend booked a weekend stay in Cape May at one of the large hotels, who failed to let us know ahead of time that they were in the middle of major renovations. We didn't want to stay there because the hotel was a mess.The... More

We visited The Colonial Inn on March 10, 2012 and it was PERFECT! Upon arrival the staff was very welcoming. We stayed in the Johnson Suite and it was exquisitely deorated and and very clean. I purchased the "wine and cheese" add on. I requested Pinot and they paired it with a white sharp cheddar which was delicious. We enjoyed... More

We like this bed and breakfast because it is located in a quiet, quaint village. Our room was nicely furnished, very comfortable, and staff members went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

We just celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary at the Colonial Inn in Smithville. Wow!!! We had a wonderful time during our 2 night stay. The staff was wonderful and very gracious. We felt like we never left home. We now call the Colonial Inn our home away from home. We visit Smithville a few times a year but never stayed... More

My family and friends stayed in 20 of the 24 rooms and suites in this lovely bed and breakfast last weekend for my daughters wedding at the Smithville Inn. The staff, from my first contact with them last June until the time I checked out yesterday were extremely helpful and attentive to every detail. Sherry at the front desk, and... More

I have been going to Smithville for years and never considered staying at the Inn because we live only miles away. When my husband suggested a quick night away for just the two of us, I was right on top of that. I thought hard about where to go and looked up the Inn. After viewing the website and pics... More
