Just came back from a couple of days at the Spray Beach Inn. First off, Long Beach Island is all about small motels, B & B's etc. So you can only compare it to other aging motels. Spray Beach Inn is located in Spray Beach on LBI. As with most hotels here on LBI, they are old and need to be replaced with new facilities. The price one pays to spend a night or two is not justified in places this old. The room is clean but there should not be rust around the bathroom and yellowed... more

We have stayed for the last three years. It is always clean and well maintained. The location is wonderful, love to go back and forth between pool and ocean. The restaurant was surprisingly excellent. more

The hotel was adequate at best. The last time the rooms were re-decorated was in the 80's. The room was dingy, and dark. The bathroom was so dark, I showered with the door open. I was extremely pleased with my stay until I got home. I either lost or left behind a knapsack with my nephew's ipod and cell phone.
