We had a lovely family dinner for my sister's 70th birthday in the Conservatory here. Lovely food, good service. Everyone had something different and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Was a wee bit on the pricey side but good quality and I believe locally sourced produce is used. Would certainly go back here again but believe the same menu is... More

I quite like the Kincaid. We ususally go into the pub side for lunch and its so lovely to sit next to the roasting fire. They have a decent menu and the food id always lovely. Its a bit dark inside but that to me just enhances the experience of sitting eating lunch with the fire roaring. Kids are welcome... More

Family meal at the Kincaid with friends from abroad. Lovely building, good location and a nice quiet spot. Starters were great, soup and seafood salad with butter and crusty rolls. This was the highlight for me - seafood portions were fantastic, salad fresh and soup amazingly well seasoned. Mains were okay. Steak pie was a favourite choice, tender and flavourful... More

Stayed overnight in the kincaid house hotel. room was a bit dated but bed was very comfortable and clean and room was quiet. Bathroom could do with a bit of TLC in the grouting and sealant but was clean. staff very helpful and cheerful. Lovely entrance and stairs in keeping with the period of the house.

I booked this hotel for the location and wasn't disappointed! The staff are a credit to the place, and as I was on my own they made me feel very welcome. There was "one" problem which has been rectified as the hotel have been extremely understanding. It is so nice to have local staff who know about their surroundings. Hats... More

I searched TripAdvisor for somewhere different to stay & found this hotel. It's a typical Scottish hotel that's also part of the community. Helpful happy staff & a pleasant restaurant at the back. I will return when I'm next in the area.

What a lovely venue in a beautiful area. The course was held in two rooms and the decor was traditional and very clean as well. The staff where so friendly and cheery. Lunch was beautiful with lots to pick.

Called on Saturday 17th Oct 2015 for light lunch. First noticed how cold bar and eating area was despite various attempts by two members of staff to light the coal fire but without any success. General decor was run down and dingy with poor lighting with dated and dirty upholstery. Our first coarse was prawn cocktail which was mostly lettuce... More
