Wow do they have a scam going. They take your credit card, reservation, and send a confirmation but never intend to let you check in (the hotel is nearly always full with long term lodgers due to its convenient location to the Park and Ride in Manhattan). I stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks.The rooms are good but the staff and management for the hotel is not.I booked it for 1 week and needed to extend for another week but the lady at the reception asked to vacate as she said the booking is over. The guy who checked me in was very shady. The hotel looked nothing like in the photo. It was a dump! Rooms are dirty and need updating. Poor lighting in room and bathroom. Noisey in hallway. Kitchen area was filthy. more

Stayed in June 2005. Brand new building, nice staff, clean and comfortable. Felt safe, no problems. Free parking. It's a 30 minute drive into NYC, much longer during rush hour, plus $6 every time for tunnel toll. But, it's so affordable compared to Manhattan. The Extended Stay in Secaucus on Meadowlands Pkwy was my home for the past 7 months. I would give it a 'thumbs up' in most areas. The hotel seemed to be very new, and the rooms were clean.
