Ridgefield Park Hampton Inn located at 100 E. Hwy 46, after the last exit on the NJ TPK has affored us great stays (JAN-FEB & APR-MAY 2009). The staff, not just the front desk either, treats you like family / friends and not just the "by the rules" kind of treatment. These people take a sincere interest in you and... more

This is my favorite place to stay when I work in northern New Jersey. For southbound travelers, it's conveniently located as the first exit before the tolls begin on the NJ Turnpike (although the turn into the hotel can be a little hairy in heavy traffic!) The hotel usually has a great rate considering the close proximity to NYC, and... more

Accessing this hotel is next to impossible. Coming from most directions, you have to merge across 4-6 lanes of traffic to barely make it into the parking lot. I nearly got into an accident every time - I've never seen a hotel so poorly placed! The rooms are falling apart and I remember it smelling like smoke. The staff was... more

Let me start out with the hotel itself is good. Clean, safe, good parking, nice rooms. Breakfast was good, breakfast server was super nice and sweet. Pulling into the parking lot-nightmare-Im glad others mentioned that and they are right-pull into the gas station and use the cut through to get into hotel parking lot. This is why my review and... more

We were looking for a family friendly hotel to stay at for our trip to New York City. We found it! The Hampton Inn (this one anyways) was perfect. And the price was even better. We drove from Ottawa to New Jersey so we had access to a car. After eating our free breakfast at the hotel, we'd hop in... more

We like the Hampton Inn brand and the Ridgefield Park didn't disappoint. We stayed two nights to see the Yankees and the City. The room was clean and spacious, with two big queen beds. The pool was just the right size and temp. as well as clean. The kids loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful, giving me tips... more

We stayed at the Hamptom Inn for the simple reason that it was a good value. After searching for a reasonable hotel in Manhattan, we decided to stay in NJ and take the bus to Port Authority. We had stayed there several years ago, and found that the hotel was better than our first stay--and it was good then. One... more

I booked this hotel through our corporate system, due to the proximity of business I was conducting in the area. I read through the other reviews, and noticed the "dangerous entry" but honestly, I wondered "How bad can it be?" I tell you...it is bad. The exit for a major highway (95) and a highway (46, I believe) make entry... more

Have stayed at this Hampton Inn on serveral occasions since 2004 but probably will not continue to do so. The entry into the hotel from Rte 46 is terribly hazardous. On occasion we have found it safer to take the entry into the gas station next door and loop back round into the hotel parking lot. On our last stay... more

The first return back to his room after a full day ( 8-9 hours)of training he came back to his room to find all the snacks & teas I had painstakenly wrapped were removed from his... more
