The hotel has a great location. That is it. My parents were visiting me in Princeton and I decided to book this hotel for them because it was right in front of the University. They were really looking forward to having a nice break, and I felt so embarrassed the moment we got to the room and saw that it... more

Hotel is serviceable... definitely a great centyral location across from the University. It's a "charming" hotel --meaning old , dated rooms, lumpy beds, $11/day internet charge (wireless in lobby only), restaurant also passable but not anything special -- a bar setting - tight wooden booths with tables full of name carvings (by undergrads?). Parking is across the street at the... more

Arrived for a conference and they missed my booking by a day, but managed to check me in anyway. The room was okay, the bathroom was clean and the bed comfortable, but there were little oddities, like the phone not being on the bedside table but on the desk which meant you had to leap out of bed in the... more

This hotel is way over-priced. It has teeny rooms and poor service (they lost our reservation and then made us pay for a more expensive room despite the fact that it was their error). They charge nearly $300 for a "suite" that is smaller than an average hotel room with unappealing decor and inadequate amenities. It's really too bad that... more

After reading the reviews, I was scared to stay, but I was pleasently surprised. If you stay in the new section, the rooms are good sized and comfortable. The AC and shower worked very well and the room was quiet for sleeping. The Tap Room is good for having a adult beverage before going out to dinner. We had the... more

Let me tell you: I'm not some fancy-pants person. I stayed here in July expecting a nice hotel room on par with a Ramada. What we got is on par with a sleezy Rt. 1 motel. The bathrooms were last updated in the 60s. Everything was old. Dank room. A/C in room barely worked, despite the old print-out instructions that... more

I was in town for an event at Princeton. The location can't be beat. The hotel is very central to the University and near many shops and restaurants. We enjoyed walking around the area. Also the front desk staff was very good -- helpful and attentive. The reason I won't stay here again is the rooms. Our room was dirty.... more

Tired is probably the best word I could use to describe this hotel. I knew from reviews it wouldn't be a great stay, but the location was best of available options for my business trip. On the plus side, the location is terrific - the only hotel in downtown Princeton, which perhaps explains why they don't feel the need to... more

I usually don't feel the need to submit my opinion, especially about a hotel stay, but I couldn't help but notice some of the truly negative comments I have read on this web site. It is a real shame that people are by nature, more inclined to voice negativity over positivity, but my family and I had such a fantastic... more

Noisy, parking impossible with an overhigh vehicle. Poor value, but conveniently located to walk about downtown Princeton. Evidently trying to get by on past reputation. The plumbing was such that my wife could not turn on the hot water. A surcharge for internet access unless I lugged the computer to a "common" area where wifi was available. After a day... more
