The spacious tall atrium was like a garden oasis. After a gracious welcoming, we were asked our choice of terraced rooms overlooking the atrium or outside rooms overlooking the beautiful landscaping. We chose to have a terrace overlooking the atrium and were not disappointed. The room was immaculate, and with the new "Great Bed" the king size was like floating... more

Overall our stay was pleasant. We stayed at the Hyatt because we planned on going to Sesame Place. According to our GPS, the distance from Princeton to Sesame was 16 miles and it took approximately 25 minutes, which wasn't a problem for us. We did however have a problem finding the hotel, as the GPS insisted on sending us the... more

I've had the pleasure of staying at Hyatt Regency Princeton about 5 times a year for many years and am pleased that my high expectations are always met. I usually am seeing three clients in the area when I visit so getting the proper rest and attentive service are paramount in considering my stay successful. The unwavering graciousness of the... more

I stayed at the Hyatt May 4-8 for business and was very disappointed. I am not very familiar with the Hyatt chain, but for what I paid it was not worth it. The hotel is old, the rooms are dirty and the in-room amenities are few and far between. I didn't even have a bar of soap - so forget... more

The Hyatt was the first of four hotels I stayed at in Princeton in one week. I like to change hotels when I travel. Since it was a Hyatt Regency I expected it to be a very nice stay, and it was not as nice as I'd hoped. The hotel has a large (huge) parking lot between it and Rt.... more

The other negative reviews on TripADvsor were right on. There is absolutely nothing to distinguish this hotel; the hallways felt cold, as if the air conditioning was on, and there is a long entry hall to get to the reception area, which was also cold and unwelcoming. The common areas are rather stark, the food was pricey and most annoying... more

I can't comment on the price of this hotel as my stay was covered by my company and I don't even know how much it was. - Rooms are clean; everything worked efficiently; two double beds in a room requested for a single person; big rooms and bathroom - The staffs are really competent. I asked them anything from the... more

This Hyatt doesn't do the brand any favors. It;'s in need of an update. The beds are small -- two doubles in my room -- and not particularly comfortable. The rooms are decent sized, but lighting is iffy. Aside from a large screen TV, technology is lacking. No readily accessible high speed internet port, and outlets are still down at... more

In spite of the reviews, I went ahead and booked this hotel for one night. Overall, our stay was very pleasant. The room, pool, and fitness room were very nice, and service was great. Location is very convenient to Princeton U and shopping. Definitely would stay there again. more

Other comments are correct. Wireless doesn't work, desk cordless telephone didn't work (asked for replacement, which never came). Front Desk Manager said they're aware that the wireless doesn't work but they're locked into a contract with T-Mobile and can't change it. Hotel is otherwise drab and restaurant is overpriced. more
