Beautifully maintained property and hosts, Patty and Mason Tarr, were the highlights of our visit. Not to mention the delicious breakfast of Patty's homemade French Toast! Our room was large and spacious with private bath. Can't wait to return!

Recently, my wife and I had an incredible and memorable visit at the Inn at Glencairn. Mason and Patty were outstanding hosts who contributed immensely to our experience. In addition to the wonderful breakfasts and terrific accommodations, they shared with us the interesting history of the Inn and the surrounding areas. We also appreciated the opportunity to visit with the... More

This was our first stay at a B&B and can say that any other will be hard to top this one. Innkeepers Patty and Mason are so friendly and welcoming, you feel like you're visiting old friends. The Inn itself is beautiful and clean and on a nice, quiet piece of land. Can't wait to return!

This historic inn is beautiful and peaceful, the grounds are lovely. Patty and Mason are charming, knowledgeable about the surrounding area, and make you feel very comfortable. Patty's breakfasts are delicious, as are her homemade cookies and pretzels. Afternoon wine and soft drinks in the lounge is a plus. I look forward to returning again and again. A perfect getaway.

When coming to the Inn at Glencairn our kids noted that the place was like a private home and was a little worried if this was right. However, a few moments later, a smiling gentleman (Mason Tarr) came out from the house and welcomed us to the Inn. 'Feel like home' Mason said after a nice introduction of the Inn... More

We spent the night at the inn as a spur of the moment getaway. Also spur of the moment was a knee injury however, we were still determined to get out of town for the night. Due to the injury, we had to cancel our dinner reservations but asked Patty if we might use the dining area and some silverware... More

We stayed at the Inn at Glencairn over a weekend and found it to be a delightful and peaceful place. Patty and Mason were very warm and accommodating which was highly appreciated given the long distances we traveled to arrive there. They went out of there way to make us comfortable and that made all the difference. This is a... More

We stayed at the Inn at Glencairn on a whim while our son was playing soccer at a local University...literally a last minute decision to NOT stay at a budget hotel. What a delightful surprise! Here's what you need to know...Gorgeous historic property, well appointed rooms with period pieces and lovely elegance. Modern, tastefully done bathrooms with every amenity that... More

I spent five days at the Inn at Glencairn and hated to leave. The building is wonderfully historic (built in the mid-1700s), but has been very sensitively renovated to include all the modern conveniences (new bathrooms, flat screen TVs, central a/c, Wifi) without detracting at all from the Colonial atmosphere. The back property is peaceful and bucolic with a stone... More

We stayed at The Inn at Glencairn while on vacation visiting family and it was wonderful. Patty and Mason were so hospitable and the breakfast they served us was just amazing. This is a place especially suited for those that love historical homes and the atmosphere of days gone by. It is full if interesting pieces not to mention the... More
