The hotel is new, the staff are courteous and willing to help and the rooms are large and clean. So what's wrong with it? The hotel has no restaurant and there is none within reasonable walking distance. Not even mall food. If you do not have your own transportation you may have to starve. A cab is expensive and will... more

I've stayed at this hotel several times since the hotel opened a few years ago. I usually come to visit my parents in nearby Kingston, and I'm occasionally in town for business. The staff has always been friendly and helpful and the rooms are consistent in size and cleanliness. I've probably stayed here six times and never had to complain... more

My daughter and I were touring Princeton. We're from CA and had never heard of these "jug handle" thingies. And we were counting on our GPS to find the hotel. The GPS kept leading us to the wrong place. I think North 1, instead of South 1. I finally called the hotel. The person who answered the phone was nice,... more

I stayed at this Hampton Inn a few weeks ago and also back in March of this year and there seems to be a new General Manager and a completly new front desk staff now. The current GM really doesnt care about his guest and seems to hide around the hotel when I was trying to find him to give... more

I've stayed at this hotel for business over the last 3 years (since Dec, 2005, when it opened) and wanted to comment on observations from my last visit in Dec of 2008. Since my last visit in 2007 I perceive that the management has changed- different persons now are at the front desk, and they have hand-typed signs plastered around... more

Booked this hotel because it was less than a mile from our favorite restaurant, the whole point of our trip. A one way taxi ride was $20! Outrageous! We wanted to have a few drinks and decided to take a cab, but I'll never do that again! $40 for less than 2 miles that night. The hotel was in no... more

Very nice, very clean hotel for a great price and good location. I suggest this hotel if you are in the area. In terms of location it is on RT 1, not downtown Princeton near the College. more

Stayed for a long weekend while visiting family in the area. Not too far for day trips to New Hope and to the Shore. The Murphy bed was comfortable, and is out of the way when not in use. The regular bed, and pillows are very comfortable, as well. The shower was great. We liked having the sink separate from... more

Stayed only one night while visiting some friends. Hotel was clean and rooms were good size with desk and lounge chair. Granite counter for sink. Single sink outside of shower/toilet room so you don't have much privacy if you need it. Curved shower rod for more room - I liked this a lot. Comfy bed. Common areas newer and clean... more

Overall I found the room quite adequate. Large, comfortable beds, good desk and reading chair, decent tv. The morning continental breakfast was quite alright. However, I would never stay here again due to the location on Route 1. First, this highway gets busy during rush hour and having to take jug handles to make left turns at that time can... more
