This is a first rate place for numerous reasons. The setting is very special for many reasons. The rooms & sleeping accommodations are clean, spacious, and quiet at all hours. The fitness center and pool areas have been redone to a quality level. The restaurant is fabulous and the selections are incredible.

I happened to get a great deal on Hotwire when looking for a place to stay for the Thanksgiving Holiday. I was going to my daughters for dinner and only staying 1 night by myself. I arrived early for the normal 4 PM check-in but the front desk was friendly and accommodating. When turning off a tertiary road it appeared... More

I booked this hotel last minute. The hotel is fine. I got room 125. I had a guest above me who was simply walking around his room for an hour late at night. This is an issue because the floors (or my ceiling) was creaking. Terrible "feature" for a hotel. The room did smell musty too. Its a shame -... More

The lady greeted me at front-desk handled check-in and behaved very much like US government officials e.g. ETS. The bathroom was clogged during the stay, the hotel staffs never tried to fix it. The room smells very much like old-aged hotel. And the hotel is hard to find and parking lot is far away from hotel entry.

Stayed 3 nights, room 124, ground floor. This is a room also suited for wheelchairs, bathroom without bath. Rooms are noisy. TV set had to be rebooted by staff every day. Wifi is free throughout hotel but you need to reconnect and login every 10 min.

This review is for our wedding on Saturday, October 3rd. Where do I start? The planning was absolutely seamless from our initial meeting with Cathy Geer, a little over a year before the event, to the day of. We were confident in Cathy's abilities from Day 1. The grounds are gorgeous and we planned for over a year to have... More

The conference center provided excellent food and good meeting facilities for our retreat, but the infrastructure is old. If you are unlucky enough to have a room on the 1st floor, below the bar, you will be consistently woken up at midnight v(when the bar closes) to thumping, pacing footsteps that cause the ceiling to creak so loudly that even... The hotel and conference center were in a great location. The grounds are beautiful and their outdoor tent area is beautiful. However the building is a bit old and the rooms could use renovating. It is not posh, but it's comfortable. Everything was clean and service was good, so overall I'm happy with my stay. It's far out of the... More

Beautiful facility surrounded by natural beauty. While most rooms offered an outdoor patio or balcony with which to take in the park-like setting, I was fortunate to have one that looked out on the water and gazebo of Laurie House. The serenity of starting or ending a long day of meetings on my patio only complemented my experience as a... More

I booked this hotel through Travelocity - which was great. The included breakfast was also good. The reason I would not go back to this hotel is the room I was given on the ground floor had a distinct mildew odor, although it appeared clean. I had to kill a large brown spider in the bathroom - not of the... More
