I was shocked at how rundown and dated the place was in light of all the positive reviews here. The location is wonderful (short walk to beach & broadwalk), and the staff very helpful. But I would not stay there again in light of how dingy and old the room, bedding and carpets were. More

This hotel was far better than expected. We stayed in the "apartment". It was so spacious and clean. Huge kitchen area. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Pool area is great! I really enjoyed everything about Amethyst! I will definitely be back! More
