We were surprised to see high ratings for this bed & breakfast. My husband & I spent 5 nights there in August 2014 & have no plans of returning. The inn was recently purchased by the new owners Wanda & Michael. Our opinion? Skip this bed & breakfast. You'll be better off spending an additional $25 - $35/night in a... More

We were surprised to see this review and we ask folks reading it to read the other reviews written since we took over. Except for this guest expecting us not to charge them for a day they “mistakenly” booked there were no complaints during their stay. The Candlelight Inn isn't simply a business to us -- it's our home. And... More

Have you ever gone somewhere and met someone and you immediately felt of like mind and very at home in this new situation? This is what we felt when we walked through the front door of the Candlelight Inn. It doesn’t happen often but when it does it is amazing. We came to North Wildwood to go to a car... More

They saying "second time is a charm" is perfectly fitting for this stay. We just returned from a wonderful 4 night stay (September 29-Oct 3), our son and his wife and my sister and her husband, we all had a great time. We booked this stay back in May and the inn was sold in July, and to be honest... More

The only thing better than the owner, Michael's, great sense of humor, is the breakfasts he makes. The Candlelight provided everything we look for in a B&B. Quaint, comfortable room, wonderful hospitality, good location. Convenient to the beach, while still being back far enough to be quiet and away from the commotion of the boardwalk. Good access to the bike... More

My husband and I stayed here The Inn is just gorgeous. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The breakfasts were simply scrumptious. And the staff was friendly and wonderful. If your looking for a B&B in Wildwood. You've found it. We look forward to a return stay when we return for bike week!

My sister and I stayed in the Victorian Rose room of this B&B. It was a 15-30 min drive to Cape May, which didn't bother me at all because parking was easy enough and it was a much better value than actually staying in Cape May. The B&B is 3 blocks from the beach, which is free entry! The new... More

Our favorite B&B. The Victorian house is beautiful with it's wrap around porch. Each room is beautiful in it's own right. Breakfast is really good making you want to skip lunch. It is under new ownership and one would think there would be issues during the transition, but there hasn't been. Plenty to do nearby with the Boardwalk and Cape... More

This place was amazing. It is a bed and breakfast, in a 110 year old house. It is immaculately clean, well furnished with antiques, and very well managed by new owners (they had only had the place three weeks when we stayed there). The breakfasts was gourmet, and clearly the owners enjoy cooking. They also get the conversation between the guests... More

We are "oldtimers" at the Candlelight, as this is our thirteenth summer visit there (after several years where we tried other places up and down the Jersey Shore). To us the Candellight is perfect - the rooms are comfortable and charming, wtih great beds, private bathrooms, and extra welcoming touches; the indoor common areas are furnished with lovely period furniture...
