Price -Fixing, price-discrimination for senior persons who come to the city working on contracts. I need to stay in this hotel for business and the Holiday Guest are receiving the best buy. I send good money and will not be pushed out as a american.

Pro--clean rooms/bug-free beds, free shuttle to Newark Penn Station, free breakfast, helpful front desk. Cons--parking lot is VERY difficult to find, some floors currently under renovation, surrounding neighborhood is sketchy and we didn't venture out (like we usually do for dinner, exploring neighborhood etc). Came to town for some soccer games at Red Bull Stadium in nearby Harrison, NJ. Traveling... More

It would help if they provided directions to the parking lot, which is behind the hotel and on a different street. I had the misfortune to arrive during a public concert and numerous road blocks, and had a devil of a time just finding the front door, then an even worse time getting into the parking lot. It was an... More

Mr. Otoo at the front desk went above and beyond the call of duty for me, and everyone should know. I was stranded in Newark at 10:30 at night on July 21st, and he made EXTENSIVE efforts to help me. I did not expect this kind of treatment since at first, it looked like I was not going to stay... More

Excellent location across for New Jersey Center for the Performing Arts and with easy access to NYC by bus or train. Hotel has a decent free breakfast and regular free shuttle service to/from airport (every 30 min.) and to other places, as needed/requested. Much less expensive than NYC properties.

This Best Western property defies the good name of Best Western. The check-in service was terrible and desk staff was inattentive to customer needs. When asked for the wireless Internet code, desk staff instructed customer to locate code in hotel room, necessitating customer to visit front desk. Desk staff did not honor room rate agreed at time of reservation. Desk... More

I thought the Best Western in Arizona was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, guess I was wrong. Newark, NJ was the worst! The number of our room was written on a piece of paper and taped to the door. At first we didn't even want to go in the room we were nervous. Our room was right... More

I stayed here on July 10th. My husband had to work an event and we booked this hotel only because the event was in this hotel. First off the front desk is very professional and very nice. When we arrived to the room. It was very outdated starting with the bathroom. The tub had a rust stain in the tub.... More

Waited nearly two hours at P4. Ring hotel using free phones when you get to P$ When driver came, worth wait as very polite and extremely helpful. Said his name was Terry, who helped to get us something to eat and dropped us back at the airport right outside terminal building. Wonderful gesture.

Robert Treat Hotel is a Treat in Newark. The rooms are very nice and spacious. The staff is welcoming and ready to serve us. This is a place that I love to go to not just because its a great hotel, also because of their rooftop and Maze Restaurant.
