The Staff was excellent and the shuttle was perfectly convenient. Our Room was great and comfortable, no problems whatsoever! We will absolutely stay here again. It is about 20 min to the World Trade Center stop and about 10 min to Newark airport.

Great location.Easy walk to Prudential Center and Penn Station. Clean hotel with a friendly staff! Front desk staff most understanding on my late check out! Also easy way to discover Newark and to take the PATH train to NYC. Great value for the Metro New York City area!

I've stayed at this hotel 4 occasions (21 nights) in the last 12 months; and an average of 4 nights a year since 2008. During that time, though there were problems, i tired to see the positives. But over the last three stays I have become more and more appalled at the poor upkeep, the nonchalant attitude of the staff(... More

I've stayed here on many occasions. It's location, directly across the street from the elegant New Jersey Performing Arts Center and it's diverse roster of programming, is ideal for arts lovers. But, if you're visiting New York City, why not consider an affordable hotel just across the Hudson. Rather than spending $300+ per night for a Manhattan hotel, spend less... More

I stayed here from Dec 8-10. Arriving at 8:00am, I knew I would have to wait for a room (given check in is theoretically from 3:00pm). I was prepared to wait a while. That was what I brought a book for! After 40 mins I was offered a room. I asked the polite guy at the front desk “is it... More

This is seriously the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and people are shocked at what I went though here. I checked in to a noisy room in this run down and tired looking hotel. One of the lifts was broken so it took ages for the lift to arrive each time. I asked to be moved from my... More

Staff very friendly and courteous. Check in and check out were done quickly and in a professional manner. Shuttle ride back and forth to PEN STATION was very helpful. Bed very comfortable. Down Side: Carpet detached from wall in one area of the room. Some warm scrambled egg, sausage and bacon could enhance the breakfast. However overall our experience at... More

I was staying for one night (on a Sunday) before a business meeting in downtown Newark the following day. The location was great both in terms of access to the airport and train station and where my business was the next day. When I arrived one of the two elevators was out of order and when it was running again... More

I chose this hotel because it was significantly cheaper than the Hilton. It's within walking distance of Newark Penn Station, if it's not snowing. In the winter time, you definitely need a hat and preferably some gloves to pull your luggage. The unfortunate thing (and this is not the hotel's fault), is that there seems to be a lot of... More

The most bang for your bucks and best quality experience. Having a free shuttle to go to Penn Station made it super easy to get to NYC. Everyone at the hotel was super helpful. I would come back in a heartbeat.
