This hotel is hard to rate. It's appearance is disappointing. It looks old on the outside and inside. It is partially renovated. They literally made it look "half" decent. Hallways on room floors are dark. The rooms are mediocre. Sliding doors on closets are extremely heavy and hard to slide. Closet, bathroom and room doors look like they're from the... More

Was in town for a business meeting the following day. locating parking (upon arrival) was a bit tricky and required one to enter and exit garage and hotel. (No walkway or corridor attaching the two). Parking garage was easy in and out. Hotel staff was pleasant and accommodating. Check in was swift and smooth. Hotel lounge was inviting, busy and... More

Hilton Penn Station. Convenient location in NJ. Rooms of a good standard, but oddly no fridge. Air con window mounted rather than roof fitted, a bit noisy, but effective. Beds comfortable, but bathroom quite tight. (Room 317). Short walk from hotel over walkway to station and food areas, if you need to eat there is a McDonalds in the station... More

Hotel is literally connected with Newark Penn station you can walk from the lobby in the 2nd floor to Penn station, there is a tunnel connecting both buildings. Comfortable specially in the winter time. There is also a convenience store and Dunking Donuts just off the lobby in the 2nd floor. We would normally get breakfast at DD and purchase... More

The woman at the front desk who checked me in was very nice and helpful; so were the room service staff members. They were having a temporary promotion giving guests free internet, which semi made up for having to pay $21 for parking every time I came and went from the garage. The room was clean and the bed very... More

The hotel is in a great location. It's surrounded by good Spanish and Portuguese restaurants and across the street from Newark Penn Station which is just a $5 one-way 20-minute train ride to Penn Station in Manhattan. You get great access to NY at half the price, plus a bigger room. However, the hotel is old and it shows. The... More

The shuttle driver from the airport was polite and quick, acting as a mini-tour guide as we drove through the city of Newark. At the hotel everyone was very helpful and courteous. We checked in early, but if the room had not been available, we were told that we could leave our luggage in a secure area with the bellhop.... More

A very comfortable weekend spent at this lovely and clean hotel. Most all hotel staff was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. The location couldn't be better with easy access to Penn station and convenient to restaurants.

Used the train to go into New York one evening and it was great but crowded. The hotel was good but found it quite noisy at night when trying to sleep as the traffic noise is heard through the windows.
