I guess I would say this hotel meets all of my expectations for Marriott. It is a well kept property, fairly clean, and a great stop if traveling through Newark, or Liberty International. We drove from Albany to this hotel, arriving at around 6pm to the Newark Airport area. We eventually checked in at 8.45 pm. The directions to the hotel were woefully inadequate. Stayed here as part of a business trip in April 2009. Initially settled on this hotel as it was convenient from the airport; shuttle service was reliable and easy to use. Didn't have much of a chance to see the surrounding area or take advantage of the hotel's other offerings, but the room (1br, nonsmoking) was up to Marriott standards.... more

Unexpectedly stayed here one night when my flight home was cancelled due to bad weather. Was very relieved they had a room available at the last minute and the rate was OK. Our room was large and the beds quite comfy, but was extremely disappointed that despite this being an entirely non-smoking facility, guests were obviously smoking in their rooms.... more

Conveinient location close to the airport. NYC is just a 15 min bus ride away. The staff at this Courtyard was extremely warm and helpful while planning a day trip into NYC.
