Because the hotel is in the airport you get a lot of noise from the planes but mostly from the traffic because it has an expressway in front and in back. We did not get a good night's rest while there. We were happy that there is a restaurant on site but the service is not very good. It took... more

Very comfortable hotel with easy access to highway and airport. There is easy access, but by no means is it easy to find among the highways converging around the airport. Rooms were very comfortable. more

If you like noise, you'll love this hotel. There was noise from the airport, of course (as with all airport hotels), but there was noise from the highway, noise from adjacent rooms and noise from the hallway too. It's one of the noisiest hotels I've ever stayed at. Otherwise, it's fine. Location is OK (although there are many airport hotels... more

Really good value hotel for when you just need to crash between flights, after a late arrival or before an early morning departure. No complaints at all, but it's worth remembering that the shuttle is only every half hour so don't miss it! Also, after about 10:30pm you'll need to use the courtesy phone at the airport to ask for... more

Without duplicating much of what has been previously written. Good hotel, 5 minutes from the airport by the free shuttle bus (runs every 30 mins top and bottom of the hour from/to P4). Hotel is clean, rooms are good size, no noise to speak of despite its proximity to the airport and 2 freeways. Blackout curtains. Inroom coffee, courtesy coffee... more

I guess I would say this hotel meets all of my expectations for Marriott. It is a well kept property, fairly clean, and a great stop if traveling through Newark, or Liberty International. Its location is right on the airport which is great, and shuttle service was best ever. Staff is helpful, kind, and really a pleasure to work with.... more

We drove from Albany to this hotel, arriving at around 6pm to the Newark Airport area. We eventually checked in at 8.45 pm. The directions to the hotel were woefully inadequate. I notice from other reviews that most people took the shuttle or taxis which is fine, but if driving be VERY CAREFUL that you have correct directions. The address... more

Stayed here as part of a business trip in April 2009. Initially settled on this hotel as it was convenient from the airport; shuttle service was reliable and easy to use. Didn't have much of a chance to see the surrounding area or take advantage of the hotel's other offerings, but the room (1br, nonsmoking) was up to Marriott standards.... more

We were tired, the flight was cancelled, the thunder and lightening were raging, and we just booked the first hotel we found. Because of the weather, check-in was a bit slow. However, we were upgraded to a lovely suite. It was nicely appointed for what I consider a business-hotel. The beds, pillows, linens and bedding were super-comfortable; I was amazed!... more
