Hotel is very standard. It did include a refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker. It is close to nothing except maybe NJPAC. The front desk staff is so indifferent, I did not feel like a valued guest. Rooms average clean. The laundry room and washing machine had scum under the lid, enough to decide not to use them. Wifi only... more
nice enough rooms staff the most disinterested i have ever come across. stayed here 4 nights, was very glad to get out of here the hotel shuttle is a disaster never there when it was wanted booked it when we wente to get it it had left without us. the area is awful you really need to be driving to... more
The hotel was ok. The service was not good...it was like pulling teeth to get any assistance. We were so scared of the neighborhood that we ordered in dinner so we didn't have to go outside. Didn't sleep all night due to police/emergency sirens blaring all night long. Find another place to stay! more

Ok, let me get right to the thing that upset us. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel, I do not think that thing even moves. We got to the airport and called for the shuttle, which I called and confirmed the morning of. Ended up the guy says we have to take a taxi. Then get word that... more
Very decent hotel for the convenience to Newark Penn Station. Room was clean and comfortable and the usual amenities of free continental breakfast and high-speed internet. But don't expect a view, since all you will see are the slums of New Jersey. There is a reason why the hotel has a tall gate all the way around. And even though... more
Great hotel with good access to New York City. Just one mile from Penn Station where you can get a PATH train direct to World Trade Center and connect with metro. Our room for three had king bed and queen bed. Great breakfast with waffles, etc. more
I stayed here for one night with my family on Aug 01. We drove from Niagara Falls to Newark to catch a flight back to Houston the next day. We arrived at the hotel around 10:00 pm. The hotel is located in a very bad area. I saw a couple of police cars parked right outside when we arrived. I... more
Having arrived at the Comfort Suites Newark for an overnight stay we were informed that 3 of our 6 rooms were cancelled. When eventually this was sorted we were given uncleaned and unprepared rooms. After being assured that our transport to the airport next morning for our connecting flight was organised, we discover at time of pick up that nothing... more
