Airport bus collection was not bad but had to wait 20-30 minutes. On my first visit we arrived at 2pm and were told that we would have to wait an hour for a room to become available. Found this hotel on expedia for £45. Check-in guy was unfriendly and uninterested and gave us keys without any smile or even greeting. Room was huge, with huge tv, huge bed (extremely comfortable) , ... Bathroom had great shower. Free wifi. Breakfast was not the best. more

This is on the edge of Newark airport, in a rather bleak industrial area surrounded by motorways. There is a shuttle from the airport which takes 5-10 minutes.
