Wife, 18 yo daughter and I stayed on 4/11-4/12 in room 356 while I ran the rutgers half marathon. The room was huge and spacious. Bathroom felt cramped. Bed was soft (we prefer harder). Outside hallway carpeting needed repairs. Asked for and recieved late check out. Parking garage had easy access to/from main lobby. Some highway traffic noise at night.... More

We booked one night stay for a 8k race at Rutger's. Beautiful hotel, located downtown.Easy to find, walk around to various resturants & shops. Hotel staff accomodated our request to room change without hassel. No ammenities in room other than TV, coffee maker and hair dryer. We needed microwave & fridge for early start before hotel resturant was open for breakfast. Front... More

Great location and a well kept property showing some aging yet, elegant fairly priced with good service. Nice lobby and bar Serving good drinks completes the package. Comfortable bed, nice size room, easy in & out parking ($16 / day) provides a convenient night sleep as well as the expected amenities of a upscale hotel. Been there 3 times and... More

While a big chain hotel, the service is quite personal. Whether I called on the phone or went to the front desk to check out, they addressed me by name. The room is relatively big, though the look is a little boring. This doesn't bother me, as I was there for only 2 nights for work.

We got it last minute on Hotwire. A little upscale from places we usually stay. Good distance if you are just wanting to be on your way from NY heading to DC. Room was nice, nice size rooms, great soundproofing and the pool was nice..and exercise room. Food is a issue if you want to save a buck.

Hotel is nice and clean, but feels a bit old, it also lacks a style, though good option for a business trip. On a positive side: -rooms are big and beds are comfortable. -indoor swimming pool (quite basic and looks dated) -central location, close to J&J offices, bars and restaurants.

We were in town for a family visit and spent 2 nights. I had booked a room with 2 beds, as we had our daughter with us. When you are guaranteed late check in, to me that means no exception to what you reserved no matter the time. Well, all they had left was a king bed with a roll... More

I have published nearly 500 TripAdvisor reviews and of those over 100 are for hotels and I write all of my reviews with a lot of thought behind them. This place looks great from the lobby, the front desk staff is outstanding, the bar is great but the rest of the hotel is no better than a tired old Best... More

Went there for a 4 day conference with my Wife. No Continental Breakfast on the weekend tho... Nice work out room and nice indoor pool/jacuzzi. Rooms were very clean and well maintained and cleaned well. Our room maid, Ms Agricola, was spectacular and very courteous and super friendly. Great Staff. Quiet hotel. No doors slamming or loud kids / guest.... More
