This hotel is not worth the money they charge. There were ants in my bathroom. The shower had the beginnings of mold. The staff wasn't all that helpful. I guess that is what you get for college kids running the hotel. Face plates for the outlets were broken. There were not enough towels. The hvac was noisy. They double charged... more

NYC prices with South of the Border service. Nowhere NEAR worth the 119/night we were charged even as part of a "Rutgers Parents" package. Stayed on the 6th floor where ALL NIGHT LONG we heard the constant noise of traffic on route 18 combined with the heat/AC units. EVERYTHING is ala-carte including parking. Not even a free "continental breakfast". You... more

Global advisory board booked with 10 people flying in from all over the world. Four of them arrived between 11PM and 2AM to check in to a set of "pre-paid, pre-booked" guest rooms. They were guaranteed. The hotel gave the rooms away and these 4 guests were taken to the next nearest hotel, a half hour away in Somerset. In... more

The ONLY thing I didn't like about this hotel is that we had to pay for parking. Aside from that a wonderful experience. Wish I could have stayed much longer. Very clean, contemporary, elegant, comfortable room with an amazingly comfortable bed. Nice size. We've stayed at a number of Hyatts and it lives up to its name. Because we travel... more

I need to travel very often . There are only three things I ask for a hotel: clean room, comfort bed and low rate. I don't really care about breakfast or the gym or the pool. I got the Hyatt from PL for a nice rate. But the parking kills the deal. The parking is $13/day. Although the room is... more

Used Hotwire to book this property and was pleased with my stay. Hotwire price was very reasonable for the hotel that I won and I was quite happy to get the Hyatt. Hotel 2 blocks from New Jersey transit. A number of restaurants within walking distance as well. A number of groups staying at the hotel while I was there... more

The lobby and rooms are a contemporary design, although the outside of the building itself is pretty dated. Parking provided in the attached garage is convenient and pretty reasonable - $6/day I believe if you get your ticket validated. Location is excellent...within steps of downtown New Brunswick. The train station, restaurants and shops are all minutes away. The only downside... more

It's a mixed bag at this Hyatt. Upon entering the lobby it looked like it was going to be very nice. We checked in and I was asked to pay $13 for parking in the garage. This seems crazy for a suburban hotel but there were no other practical options. The room was at the end of the building, thankfully... more

I only stayed at this hotel for one night, but that was enough time to see that this is a great place to stay. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The room is very well presented, with a nice big TV, plenty of space, and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was average, but it was clean and everything worked.... more
