I stay at the Heldrich every year for a meeting and was shocked with the state of the rooms and conference and restaurant areas. Big pieces of duct tape covering rips in conferences in public areas (restaurant dining room). My room was clean and the bed comfortable but two lamps (of four) didn't work right (one wouldn't stay above the... More

I was attending a Black Tie event at The Heldrich Hotel for one of my Professional Business Organization that I sit on the Board of Directors. The affair was O.K. but not to the expectations that I was given at a Wine and Food Tasting event two weeks prior to the event. When the actual event took place last Saturday... More

We sincerely regret that an earlier tasting presentation conducted prior to the scheduled event failed to match what was offered at the actual black tie event you had recently attended. The Management is following up to make sure our standards not only meet guest expectations but exceed them in the future. Thank you. More

I was recently at this hotel for a conference and the owner of the hotel was supposed to be the keynote speaker the next morning but he skipped out on us which was very disappointing so they lose a star for that. Besides that, it was a pretty nice stay, the bed was comfortable and the wi-fi was fast. New... More

We are happy that you enjoyed the overnight rooms and the food offered in our restaurant. I stayed here recently while doing some teaching at Rutgers. Room was fine, nice desk, nice bathroom, nice bed (but terrible pillows). I arrived after a transcontinental flight and a walk from the train station in cold rain, so I was disappointed to hear the entire restaurant was booked for a private event (there wasn't even a place to get... We appreciate your review on Trip Advisor and sincerely regret that not everything was up to standard. We are currently in the process of ordering new pillows for our guest rooms. We do provide a complimentary shuttle based on availability to and from the train station and it would have been our pleasure to provide this service. The Spa manager... More

Being part of two events at the Bloustein School at Rutgers and then at Christopher's, the restaurant at The Heldrich, it was clear this was a most convenient location. Others returned to Manhattan, but I repaired to a spacious "king corner," appropriately priced, and a bit basic though in an elegant kind of way. The lobby and meeting rooms are... More

The title pretty much sums up my feelings for this hotel. The lobby areas are immaculate. Front desk is very inviting. Then you arrive to your room and all the outside door facings are beat up. The interior bathroom door was worse. The room was another in the long line of hotels that did not have an available plug beside... More

Spent a night here as a midpoint between home and visiting "The Rise" in Old Westbury NY (we have family living in New Brunswick). We travel frequently over weekends around the tri-state area for family activities. This is a completelhy delightful hotel - beautiful, comfortable, and very conveniently located to many different restaurants (there is a theater across the street... More

Didn't expect to see a hotel this beautiful and at night it was just amazing. The staff very helpful and my hat is off to Johnathan who helped me with my luggage. The hotel itself was very nice, it looked clean and the staff was very professional. There was no free parking offered by the hotel and that struck me as pretty odd. Other than that it really was a good place to stay and not too expensive.

We appreciate your kind comments about the friendliness of our staff and the cleanliness of our hotel. There is free street parking available in the neighborhood within few blocks away but we recommend the NBPA garage parking for convenience and safety. We hope to welcome you back again in the near future. Thank you. More
