The hotel is in the middle of the town, and you can reach everything just walking. The building is nice, with some good decoration in the interior. The room was modern, with nice furniture, but the bathroom was a bit old and the toilet flush did not work properly. I had to open it manually all the time and fix... More

We recently stayed overnight prior to a visit to Rutgers University. We were able to walk to a close-by restaurant for dinner. The hotel's special summer promotion included a hot breakfast buffet that had a great selection of food. It was very good -- also enjoyed the fitness room (the fact that two Manchester City Soccer Players were there didn't... More

Attended a conference...amazing food and service. New chef and restaurant manager making a difference. Valet friendly and helpful. Very comfortable beds. Only a few maintenance issues could make a 3 star hotel a 4 star hotel. Would recommend a stay for anyone. Neighborhood family friendly.

Checkin was fast and efficient, and the pair working the front desk made it fun. They were genuinely polite and outgoing, and we immediately felt welcomed. I can't say as much for one of the valets who obviously didn't want to be there, but luckily another valet made up for the first one. The bellhop this morning spent several minutes... More

Our weekend get away included a stay at this wonderful hotel which was conveniently located close to an event that we attended. Valet Parking by a private company was available which was also great, especially after a long day well into the night. The room was quite nice and we were very pleased with the service. Another great mention, there... More

The rooms are very nice. Beds, linens, amenities are all very well done. On the other hand, the food is fair (lunch) to poor (breakfast). Breakfast consists of powdered (or powdered like) eggs, greasy, par cooked bacon, "hash browns" exactly like McDonalds, etc. The dinner buffet was a study in "high margin" foods (pasta bar, tacos, sliders using prepackaged, preformed... Love it when you walk through a lobby and you are always greeted with a smile. Close enough to get to NYC with no hassle. Rooms where great modern... More

I haven't spent time in New Brunswick since college. And didn't expect much for downtown. What a pleasant surprise. The Hotel was lovely, from the lobby to the halls to the restaurant, everything was modern, clean and first rate. The room was equal to most I have stayed I and the rate was unbelievably low. Staff couldn't have been nicer.... More

This was my second time in 4 months that I stayed at the Heldrich this year. The folks at the front desk even remembered me! Check-in was quick, friendly, and efficient by Jacky. Both times the room was great. When I had some issues with the room, the front desk had housekeeping deal with it immediately. We were fortunate to... More
