Howard Johnson Motel, East Brunswick, New Jersey. This hotel should be demolished immediately. Maintenance appears non-existent almost everywhere. Everything, especially on the outside, is falling down. Sidewalks are cracked all over. A lawyer could have a field day here. The filthy, dirty swimming pool was loaded with trash and leaves. Both when checking in and out, the staff was totally... more

I'm not sure how this hotel passed a health inspection. Stains on the walls and sheets, run-down exterior and the worst part is actually the staff and management. I would sleep on a bench before ever staying here again. more

Hotel was very unkempt, dirty with litter around the whole place. Rooms need some refreshing. No difference between stench in smoking versus non-smoking rooms. Management attitude needs serious overhauling. Would never stay nor yet recommend to my worst enemy. more

I had the misfortune to stay at this horrible hotel for an overnight stay for business. I arrived at the hotel at about ten p.m. I parked my car in the lot outside the office and I do believe a lady of the evening propositioned me. I checked in with a rude front desk clerk. Went to my room, opened... more

We had to find a place to stay on our way from Boston to Washington. If we had more time, we would have looked further. But it was late, and we only wanted to sleep. The owner was rude when we checked in, found it silly that we wanted to check the room first (this was the first time ever... more

As the title says we are from Georgia. I booked this hotel through Travel Today .com as we were working in New Jersey for the week. We arrived kind of late around 10 pm. From the looks of the hotel it wasnt too bad. and being a contractor, I have stayed in worse looking places. My partner and myself got... more

I booked this hotel because of the proximity of my daughter's college. We were dropping her off the next day. I am always looking for something inexpensive with breakfast to stay at in the area. It looks okay on the outside near the front. We were given rooms in the back on the second floor. There was garbage in the... more

This was without a doubt the worst hotel experience ever. I must concur with the previous entries. We had gotten a free night stay at this hotel, as we were moving into a new house and needed a place nearby to stay for the night. We made the mistake of showing up around 11:30 at night. Upon first glance it... more

This place is just a dump. It is dirty, the front desk is totally unprofessional, the bathrooms are smelly. Next time I am in Nj, I will pay more and stay in a safer, nicer hotel. more

We stayed one night. The hotel is well situated for travelers, just a little off Route 95. The room was clean except for the toilet, which was a little off-putting. The TV pickednup some channels clearly but not all of them. The people at the front desk were minimally courteous. Still, the bed was firm and not bad and the... more
