Just had lunch there today, the service was fabuolus that of a bygone age, curtious, attentive, professional, I should know having spent all my life in hotel management. I had a trout pate style to start, followed by a superb steak, with a pepper sauce, the desserts were delicious said the other guests. We met the director on leaving who... More

I stayed at this hotel in late August, together with my brother. We booked through booking.com and our room was great, compared to the mountain huts we'd stayed before. Checked out and paid by cash. That's where the misery began. When we got back home and checked the credit card bill, another full amount was deducted. Obviously there had been... More

In order to avoid a scandal we do not deserve, the contested amount was transferred back on the 6th October 2014. In no case may our probity be questioned, and we deeply regret these spurious accusations made against us. More

Rather odd but clean and comfortable enough. Reasonably priced too and well-situated. Breakfast not bad if limited. Staff varied from very helpful and charming to clueless or unhelpful. Luchon is lovely but I'd stay elsewhere on my next trip.

We were a group of eight people. We booked two rooms for four people, so 4x2: 8 people. They asked 23€ per person, so 184€. We paid them by a transfer. Once we arrived, they asked us for twice the price, so 46€ per person, explaining that it was a mistake of the Tourism Office. We had our invoice. They... More

Comfortable and well looked after. Richard Clayderman style piano music in the bar, waiters in bow ties. Probably suits Luchon well. I aged several years in order to fit in... Very expensive beer. Wine is better bet.

This hotel has got bags of character and a true french feel. The room was quite basic and the beds not the most comfortable but it was perfectly adequate and very clean, spacious and with a nice en-suite bathroom. Decor throughout the hotel is quite 'retro' but I loved it and see this as part of the charm. Not a... More

We stayed here for four nights during the peak of the summer season. Despite being given a twin room even though we booked a double and there being no air conditioning, our room was really lovely and very spacious. The breakfast was quite basic but not bad for the price. What really impressed us about the hotel was the helpfulness... More

Usually very nervous about 2 star hotels in France......on this occasion as I was travelling on my own and not that bothered about a high degree of comfort I decided to risk it. It was a very pleasant surprise. I can't really understand why it is not 3 star. The usual reason is no lift. There is a lift but... More

We booked this hotel for only one night but were so impressed with the service, excellent restaurant and comfortable rooms that we booked 3 nights. It is located right opposite the thermal baths which are well worth a visit. The town of Luchon has some wonderful residences a nice Catholic church and many places to eat at reasonable prices. It... I still get out and ride my bike when I can!!! This is my 5th Stay here although yes the 70's style with the waiters wearing black tie and waitresses all in uniforms. As a 65+ gent I don't look good in lycra and have never been told off here about coming down to breakfast in my shorts, or returning... More
