My husband and I had an amazing stay at the Inn on Main. We were pressed for time after a horrible 30 minute stay at a very bad motel. We found Inn on Main through google and it looked perfect for our vacation turned honeymoon after we eloped a few days before. The bed was huge, the room was comfortable,... More

We were extremely lucky to get a cancellation at this hotel with it's ideal location to visit our friends in the Squan. It has free parking in the back for guests. All guests in the room have to be registered and they have strict rules so people can't rent a room and jam all their friends in for a loud... More

Thanks for the review. We are into our 5th successful year since we conceptualize our unique self-check-in limited-service, residential boutique-Inn. Guests have commented on the wonderful privacy and high housekeeping standards only seen in leading hotels. Our rooms, according to many customers, are the best in our immediate expanded Jersey Shore area. To add to the experience is the charm... More

The king bed room was very nice. We had a balcony but the hotel was using it for generator and grill storage, plus the fan noise from their restaurant was very noisy. You couldn't hear voices but because of the wooden floors you heard all movement from the room above. There is no hotel staff ( other then cleaning staff).... More

Since this review, we have corrected the items mentioned by the reviewer for this otherwise fabulously large room. The noise was from the restaurant's unbalanced fan; the Hurricane Sandy-proven generators needed a temporary place while we renovated our storage area. Our apologies to the Reviewer. We are quite a unique hotel, more like a boutique residence. Phones are covered 24/7.... More

My choice for a birthday getaway was three days/two nights in Manasquan at the Inn room #305. A delight ! We throughly enjoyed the large gas fireplace, 4 poster bed with very comfortable mattress, step in large shower, but not able to enjoy balcony due to weather. Delightfully quiet. Enjoyed two breakfasts @ Max Devros for fluffy pancakes and their... More

Spent 2 nights around a wedding in Spring Lake. The bride/groom had other hotels/inns blocked but my husband and I are regular beach bums during the summer in Manasquan so we thought we'd give this a try. We also stayed in Room 203 and agree with previous review on this room. Friend stayed in Room 207, which faced the back... More

I stayed here last week in room 203 and absolutely loved it! The place was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The photos on the website are very accurate. I loved having the fireplace. In September it was a little cool at night and it was very cozy. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was very nice with granite counter and... More

I am a transplanted Jersey Girl living in TX now. I wanted to get back to Manasquan for a short visit. I spent my summers growing up on First Ave. our Mom's ashes were recently scattered in the ocean, and I needed to come "visit" her. Although I am used to staying beachfront, my trip was last minute, and my... More

Thanks for writing in. Sorry for the mix-up on the pin codes, which is very rare. Oftentimes, guests with multiple rooms get the same pin codes, and we modify if so requested. Yes, the ceiling fan needed dusting and we have done so as well as re-touched all the rooms following a busy summer. We hope to see you again.... More

We went to the NJ shore for the first time over Memorial Day weekend (yes sorry for the delay in my review). What a wonderful little inn. We were walking distance to many amenities. We visited the beach, hit the movies and did a little shopping. I liked that we didn't have to worry about looking for a clerk at... More

Thank you for your review, and we wish everyone would take in more than just the beach (which we are a minute away from). The village shops and restaurants around us are a surprise to travelers. Our check-in process, as you mentioned, was simple and, if I can add, more secure than regular standard keys. Regards, Val Reyes, Owner More

we love beach towns, but let's face it, usually there are slim pickings when it comes to finding a hotel that is both clean, well appointed, and not catering to young kids who book a room for two, and then cram another six of their friends in it and use it as a party hall / crash pad (been there,... We thank reviewer for her repeat stays and her accurate review. The beach is 1 1/2 mins drive at the end of the road, or 15 min walk. The Inn is surrounded by restaurants and village shops and continues to be lively active even when the summer season ends. Firefly Bistro on our ground floor is an area "hit," adding... More

We stayed for 3 nights in this pristine hotel. It's on Main Street and surprisingly quiet, you cannot hear the cars on the street below at all. It's in a perfect location too, lovely shops and cafes run on either side of it and at the end of the street is the beach. Perfect! The bed was really comfortable, the... More

We are pleased the reviewer had a good stay. Just like its sister hotel, the Atlantis Inn in Ocean City, NJ, the Inn on Main has also just received the 2013 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award, still a rarity in the Jersey Shore area. We work diligently and professionally and are grateful for our hard-working staff and the excellent food... More
