I started writing this review about ten times but I think it needs to be said... We had a tub that did not drain... was still not fixed when we returned for the evening. Toilet would not flush... Bed leaing far to the left. The bedding was old and stained... The window AC unit was right next to my head..... more

We bought this B&B stay for 2 nights at a charity raffle. We had a wonderful experience at The Bridgestreet House. My 6 year-old became friends with Ms. D., the inn keeper. He could hardly wait to get back to the B & B at the end of each outing, so he could sit out on the porch with Ms.... more

After I mentioned to friends that I had booked a room here they said I should have read the reviews. Well I did read them and must say I was concerned. Because of the weekend there were no other rooms availble in the area, so I took my chances. My wife and I checked in and were greated by name... more

After being in our room for only 2 hours my wife and i decided to drive home in the middle of the night. This place ruined our Valentines weekend. There are no amenities, the windows didn't stay open, the bed was horrible and squeaky, the heating pipes were very loud, there was a musty smell, an overall unclean feel -... more

I do not understand the negative reviews. I found the place to be quite clean. The breakfast options were tasty. Delores, the innkeeper, was helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to others! more

Originally we booked two rooms. One was to be for my mother, and the second was for my wife and myself. They offered us a "suite" for three people when we arrived, which was a room with a pull-out sofa. This pull-out could not be slept on, as it sunk in horribly and many of the springs designed to hold... more

I can get comfortable almost anywhere. I love camping, roughing it, and I've slept on some floors in my day. It takes a lot to disgust me. But this place really grossed me out. All the negative reviews below mirror our experience there. And what a rip-off! $265 (including taxes) for two nights of this! I've stayed in $50-a-night places... more

We had planned to spend two nights but could not manage even one. Place: smelled musty; inside looked uncared for; carpet threadbare and spotted; bath tub smelled like mildew and the toilet (according to the proprietor) was only temporarily fixed. more

I am surprised that this inn is allowed to operate. We actually couldn't stay there. A friend and I had booked a two-night stay based on the description on the inn's website. The first thing that the owner, Delores Holmes, told us was that there was a "problem with the toilet", she had fixed it, "but if we had any... more

This place is a disgusting mess! i wouldn't eat in the breakfast area- dirty floor, dirty coffee machine, dirty containers for condiments, etc. The shower had to be cleaned at my request- gobs of the previous guests' hair in the drain. Dirty cups and glasses not taken away. I had to ask for some soap (none was in the room).... more
