I have stayed at this motel many times before on previous visits to my family and have always found it to be clean and comfortable. On this occasion I was there to attend a funeral and needed to arrange for a room and food for the family to gather following the funeral. Without exception every one on the staff was... more

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days. Typically we initially just viewed this hotel as a bed to sleep in as we searched for a house in the area. However, we were treated very well by a very friendly staff especially Carolyn one of the managers at the hotel. She went out of her way to make our stay... more

The staff is great and very accomodating, the rooms are always clean, beds are comfortable, generally quiet except for highway noise if the windows are open. more

So-so place.

Agree with another reviewer here - the bottom sheet was a flat double, barely tucked under the queen mattress. The b'fast was so-so. Nothing special. Big beef: no elevator, which is NOT brought to traveler's attention until he's signed in etc. I knew from previous experience. Saw one old gent dragging heavy bags up the stairs, which is two small... more

Management difficult to work with...felt bait-and-switched with every communication. NO POOL! Kid's didn't like breakfast. No elevator. Beds didn't have proper sheeting...one flat and bedspread...had choice of being on mattress, or under only bedspread. Not close to anything...eat before arriving. Hard to even get to if traveling east-bound. And to top it off was, most expensive of all the other... more

I stayed here with my wife.. Although it says $176 for the average stay, we paid $110 at hotels.com for a standard room. The only negative -- no pool, but I wasn't expecting it for $110 a night. The positives: Internat access with a printer in the lobby, so I could print out Google directions to the other spots on... more

I booked my stay at the Comfort Inn Manchester/Lakehurst because of it's location between Six Flags and Seaside Heights and I was not dissapointed. We arrived on Saturday evening. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The staff was pleasant. My room was immaculate and the beds were very comfortable. There was a refrigerator, microwave oven and coffee maker in... more

The great price is what places this motel "above average" compared to the other chains in the Tom's River area. I found the rooms to be 1/3 to 1/2 less costly, with the same basic amenities you'd expect from any chain. It's only 5 minutes further from the Jersey shore beaches, but the cost drops dramatically in that distance. Nonsmoking... more
