I went with my boyfriend to check out NYC. We purchased our tickets online, a few days beforehand. We stayed for 3 nights. When we got there they had been expecting us, our room was ready and clean! It was not much of a view outside (very industrial) but it was pretty cheap, there was a mini fridge and a... more

As a single guy, I went to NYC for the weekend simply to do some sightseeing. I didn't want to pay the steep Manhattan room rates. I preferred to spend money on food, drinks, the sights, etc.; and frankly, I wasn’t planning to spend that much time in my room. The Econo Lodge fit the bill just fine. The hotel... more

I stayed at this Econolodge with a group of friends. We reserved 3 rooms for 2 nights. Our experience wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either. I have stayed in worse unfortunatley. The front desk staff was very rude and was not helpful. Also he tried to charge a different rate then what had been given at the time the... more

The people who worked knew nothing. the hotel was disgusting. I had talked to them on the phone to book andw as told cab rides into Manhatten were about $20, that the hotel was clean, the staff knew about the area etc. First guy working gave me the wrong directions to the Walmart,, I ended up getting into a car... more

we will book future reservations for the hotel from the movie Vacancy, because they appear to be much more friendly than the crooks at this place. Bottles breaking in the parking lot outside of our window, loud noises in the hallways, and knocking at our door every 10 minutes, all night long. the desk clerk (or one of the 20... more

Rude management, property not as described, horrible location/neighborhood. What more could you want??? My first clue should have been the problems with trying to get the "manager" to give me clear and definitive answers to my questions when booking the room. The second should have been when the email confirmation did not match my room request and a call back... more
