Due to its proximity to NYC and convenience to the New Jersey PATH train, I checked out this place about 10 years ago. At that time, it was crime-riden, occupied by hookers and used for drug deals. Since that time, someone really put some real effort and money into this place. Now, fully cleaned up and professionally operated, a perfect... More

We just got back from a 4 night stay at the Holland Hotel. We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. It was close to the trains into Nyc and the price was great! The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our hotel room was very clean and cozy. We liked having the fridge and microwave, it came in... More

I was very happy with our stay at the Holland Hotel. It was very clean, comfortable beds, good simple breakfast, and friendly staff. I would stay here again...Very convenient to public transportation into NYC and close to Carlos's Bakery😋

This is the second time my family and I stay at the Holland Hotel, staff nice, breakfast nice, location nice, you can even make your reservation for the sightseeing busses (hop on hop off tickects), the room was really neat. Yo can walk to newport path station ( 15 minutes) and voila you´ll be at 33rd street (1 block away... More

We were pleasantly surprised by the Holland Motel. It was clean and perfectly adequate (no elevator). The clientele seemed to be largely Europeans visiting New York. They travel to Hoboken and take the path train or the train from Newport station to arrive car-less in Manhattan. We just needed a place for a two day business trip in Manhattan and... More

My wife and two young kids stayed at the Holland Hotel from December 5 to 8. I researched this hotel quite a bit and I wanted an affordable and clean place with easy access to New York City. Here is the bottom line: I would definitely return as this hotel is great value. I’m always worried about older hotels but... More

Stayed here the first week in December with my husband. We went for this hotel as it was half the price of hotels in Manhattan. The hotel was great. It was very clean, a spacious room, comfortable bed and a tv with plenty channels. to be honest we didn't really spend a lot of time in the room as we... More

One year ago, it appeared this hotel might be in decline but, now, that appears to have been reversed. The security and safety atmosphere is now acceptable and it is re-assuring to see one long time front desk person still there. The hotel's strengths remain a manageable commute into New York City, free parking, an abundance of snacks throughout the... More

hotel includes a continental breakfast and free wifi. Great value and only 4 blocks to the Path train that takes you into NY city. Newport Mall is very near and you find all international stores. 5 blocks to Hudson river walk way and the Manhattan view.
