With an unbeatable price and location this hotel is a stunner! It's located right next to Holland tunnel. To get to Manhattan take a Path from Newport(which is just 7 minutes walk). Stuffs are friendly, rooms are small but neat and clean. Wifi, microwave,Refrigerator, all the basic amenities are there. There is no parking fee and there is a grab and... More

I had previously confirmed in correspondence with the hotel that there would be no problem parking at the hotel both before our check-in time and after checking out. As such we got two free days of parking - an incredible convenience. We arrived early on Saturday before checking in to verify the room was in order and alerted the clerk... More

There is nothing fancy about this motel but I felt safe. It is a very busy area with the Holland Tunnell entrance within a block. The staff was helpful and encouraged us to step outside the box. The trips to Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty were easy from here. Even with all the traffic, the motel was quiet.

It isn't luxurious but you'll never find a better deal this close to New York City. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. There was no extra charge to park our car in their secure lot . We did not have time for the free breakfast but It looked very good (better tham most.)... More

Overall we had a good stay at the Holland Hotel. It is small with no amenities. However, if you are looking for a clean place to lay your head when you are visiting New York, this is a good bet. Our tour bus picked us up right at the door of the hotel and dropped us off there as well.... More

This is our family first trip to NYC, through Tripadvisor we found this hotel. It is exactly what it said, the hotel room is small, but aside from that, it is clean and very reasonable (free parking, Wifi and Breakfast). it is only 10 minutes from Path train to go across to NYC. no wonder this hotel received the 2015... This hotel was just what I was looking for. It was a short walk to the PATH train. There is free parking. I always felt safe in and around the hotel. There was a mall really close by. The hotel itself was clean and the staff was very nice. The breakfast was average, but they always made sure it was... More

The room though small in size, it was clean, functional and was well serviced daily, did not lack for anything except for coffee / tea making facilities in the room but which were available in the lobby 24/7 and lacking laundry facilities. The staff were helpful, friendly and informative. The hotel is very handy to The Path train transport into... More

After reading other reviews we decided to try it. It lives up to its reputation! Great big clean rooms. Awesome friendly service. Free parking and breakfast. Observations: room by the main holland tunnel road = little noise. Hallways = old hotel smell. Breakfast = perfect. Quick and on the go. No dinning area.
