The title is what we kept telling ourselves and laughing about. Yes, it's a parking lot with no grass, construction of buildings at 6am, every city sound you can imagine and a vandalized laundry room. It felt like a shipyard but its "doable". Five long city blocks separate you from the subway to Manhattan so that's its saving grace.

If you want to stay close to the city this place is good. Nothing fancy, spaces are close together, but it works. Security is good, ride the ferry to the city. This is not a KOA with grass and rental bikes. This is a place to park your RV and be close to the City. Staff was friendly and helpful.... More

Having visited this campsite to stay for just one night I can only say DO NOT STAY HERE if you wish to sleep. They have the BEST location for seeing NYC while you are RV touring. It is just a few blocks from the PATH train into the downtown and walking distance to necessaries.
