Poor maintenance and bad response to problems. Took 2 trips and repeated calls to get clogged toilet fixed. Also sink stopped up as well. While convenient to the PATH train to Wall Street, it is less so if you are going up town or to midtown . There is little in the surrounding neighborhood for restaurants, bars. etc. Not that... More

My sister and I stayed here on a bus tour from Toronto to New York City for 3 nights. I had the best sleep ever thanks to the amazing beds and pillows they have. The staff at the desk were so helpful and the morning staff who gave us a wonderful breakfast each morning were amazing. The Buffet was really... More

With hotel rates being astronomical in Manhattan at this point, the Hyatt in Jersey City, just across the Hudson from downtown, offered great value. Definitely lower rates, it's easily accessible to Manhattan via Path train to World Train Center, then a subway ride just about anywhere you want to go. One exception: Path doesn't run on weekends, but there's a... More

Beautiful & comfortable hotel. Very nice & polite staff. They make you feel welcome! Rooms are amazing. View is amazing. VU Restaurant has incredible food. Outside to the right only 100 feet away is the PATH trains to take you into New York. You can be at Canal street in less than 15 minutes. Outdoor seating by the water is... More

The hotel was conveniently located across the Hudson from lower Manhattan. The PATH train is physically right next to hotel for easy access to Manhattan. The staff was pleasant and courteous, the valet service was prompt and efficient in providing our vehicle when we requested it. The view from our room was beautiful, anytime of day we could look out... More

Great service by the staff, especially the front desk and restaurant, but also felt a genuine friendliness from exercise room attendant and valet service. Food was excellent at the buffet. Child friendly environment. Clean rooms with all the amenities.

I stayed here with my wife for a nearby wedding. Room was top notch, beds great and temperature very comfortable. View of NY skyline was very nice. Room was expensive, as expected for the location. However, the food was too expensive for my taste. Twenty three dollars for breakfast was rather ridiculous.

Although we reserved a Manhattan Skyline view, we were in room 474 in far corner with a view of the parking canopy and only a slight view of the city. We were disappointed in this regard, but made the best of our stay since we didn't travel to simply sit in our room and look out the window. The hotel... More

Whenever I visit NYC I always stay at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City. The Path is located at the hotel and the views of the city are awesome. The hotel is located across from the Freedom Tower. The dining room has picture windows of Manhattan Island. There is a ferry available at the Hyatt to take you to the city if... More
