This Hotel is the Best, First, Location is amazing and it being next to the PATH made things a lot easier, surprisingly enough I am an Employee for the Marriott and I was well greeted by the Beautiful young Lady Sawa (sorry if I spelled wrong) but she was working the PM shift Friday Oct 10, 2014. She accommodated us... More

This is a typical city Courtyard, but it's in a pleasant neighborhood adjacent to a PATH train that will bring you quickly into Manhattan, and the Holland Tunnel is nearby if you're desperate or masochistic enough to drive into the city. Some pretty decent restaurants nearby and the view of lower Manhattan from just around the corner is stunning.

I have stayed here a couple of times now and I really like it, it's always clean and well maintained. The staff are good, and are always keen to help. Its located next to the path station and the local shopping mall is only a short walk away

We couldn't not have picked a better hotel in regrds to transportation to Manhattan - the stop is right next door Prices were okay Breakfast is not for free, just be aware. We needed some wamer blankets, and had a problem here. We had to really beg for more. Hotel policy prevents from given each person in a room a... More

What a great location, next door to PATH train underground, which means 12 minutes to either Midtown (34th street) or world Trade Center (9/11 memorial) in new york. 2 minutes to light rail which takes you to Liberty state park. Then twenty minutes walking to ferry for statue of liberty & Ellis Island which is the best way to beat... More

Stayed here for one night. Convenient location for most things in Jersey City. Room was nice, comfortable and clean but not up to the standards of most Marriott's. Bathroom could use updating. Lounge area and pool are adequate.

Best of Courtyard Jersey City is its location - walking distance to shopping mall, supermarkets, path, restaurants, etc... Not many staff in the hotel however service is good. Room is medium in size and clean but restroom is quite small. Free wifi in room. Overall it is not a luxury hotel but still quite comfortable.

Nice place, however don't forget anything valuable or the staff will steal it. During my two night stay I purchased a new pair of shoes at the mall across the street I wore them once and forgot to pack them. The next day it occurred to me that I had forgotten to pack them so after double checking my belongings... More

Last week I stayed at the Courtyard Jersey City Newport for business. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and it's a decent hotel. Great location with views of NYC and a short PATH trip to Manhattan. My complaint about this trip was related to the glasses provided in the room. Over the years I have seen news... More

I've stayed here about 95 nights over the past 10 months and really like it. It is very convenient to the PATH (which provides quick access to NYC and other parts of NJ), the people are great and the rooms are clean and quiet. Plus the Bistro in the lobby serves a great Chicken Caesar Salad! It is across the... More
