My friends and I - 3 women total were looking for a reasonably priced hotel to spend a girls weekend in NYC. This hotel was great. It is literally right next to the PATH train which gives access to NYC in 10-15 minutes. The price is so much better than staying in Manhattan. And the hotel is very quiet. It... More

Lets face it when it comes to urban areas a block might as well be a mile. this property is the exception because its right on the Hudson and close to the PATH train as well as numerous dining and drinking options. hotel itself is great with all the amenities and new and modern. staff is friendly and welcoming

If you are looking to go to New York I suggest you stay here for the convenience and the price as compared to New York City hotels. Great staff , great location to subway (PATH) that will take you into New York and a price hundreds less for hotels you can see in Manhattan by walking 100 yards and standing... More

My wife had to attend a conference at one of the neighboring building in the Newport area of Jersey City and we stayed here at the Courtyard. If you are looking for a swanky-style hotel, you won't find it here. But the hotel provides the basics for your needs. The hotel is dated (carpeting is old, fixtures in bathrooms could... More

I stayed two night in room 621 (no view) but I there was no traffic noise and I don’t think there are views from any rooms anyway. We had two queen beds with 3 pillows each, super beds and better linens. I requested a rollaway that I knew I’d never need but it got me a bigger room and used... More

I know I have reviewed this hotel but I was just there last weekend and thought an update was worth while. Sometimes people write reviews and your looking at it 3 years later. I was there with a group of 67 high school students. Our check in was very smooth. Off to the rooms with everyone in less than 15... More

Within 25 minutes of Newark Airport, by Holland Tunnel to NY - and near lots of business/companies in Jersey City. Clean hotel, nice room, quiet, very comfortable. Staff was helpful, friendly and went beyond regular/standard service. Would stay again!!

Spent three nights here while visiting schools in Manhattan. Selected this location where I was close enough to traverse Manhattan while parking my car for cheap. The hotel is immediately adjacent to the Newport PATH station. Fares were $2.75 each way to get into Manhattan and often required we switch to the NYC metro lines which cost an additional $2.75...
