My husband and I and another couple spent the weekend at this Inn a few weeks back and had an overall great time. Mid-October is a beautiful time of year in that part of the country, and the quick access to hiking at the Delaware Water Gap (about a 10 minute drive away) was great. The rooms were simply decorated... more

My wife and I were celebrating our 10th anniversary and just wanted a night away, nice dinner, breakfast. We had gone to an inn in Vermont when we got married, but now with 2 kids, it's hard to really get away for more than a night. Here we could get a 1 night accomodation, which is often difficult on a... more

We stayed at the inn in September of 2009. The service was really nice: everyone - the inn keepers, the bar tenders and the waiters - were great, though a little preoccupied with some parties that were taking place at the facility. Keep in mind that the place is old, and the rooms are anything but modern. If you're ok... more

We are indeed an historic Inn as our website accurately depicts. Buildings built prior to the Revolutionary War are seldom renovated simply to be perceived as sleek, modern or contemporary. We appreciate reviews describing our facilities so potential guests expecting to stay at a new motel won't be disappointed when they arrive.

I used to stay here every month back in 1999 - 2002. I live in Canada and when another business trip to the area came up, I requested our corporate travel agent to book me at Inn @ Millrace Pond. I was unaware the Inn had changed ownership (2007) and was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. They have made some positive... more

Being from Southern California we always look forward to our stay at the Inn at Millrace Pond when we visit our daughter in a prep school nearby. The Inn was recently bought and the new owners have added cable tv, internet access and made improvements to the restaurant. On our last stay we came in late and enjoyed a delightful... more

Thank you for making our weekend a memorable one! Thanks for allowing us to bring our beloved pet. The historic inn is wonderfully restored and nicely appointed. We enjoyed both the dinner and breakfast the following day. The meals were enjoyable and never rushed. We look forward to our next visit!! more

After so many weeks of bad weather and cabin fever, a girl friend and I planned to go to Hope NJ and shop for antiques. We never heard of the restaurant until we stumbled across it. We decided that we would go there after shopping. Unfortunately, it was Valentine's Day and we knew that the restaurant was going to be... more

My husband took me for a birthday getaway. We had stayed at The Inn at Millrace Pond on several previous occasions, and always enjoyed our visits. This time we took our dog, and stayed in the Stone Cottage, which was perfect. The decor was what you would expect of a colonial inn - plain and simple and really clean. There... more

I attended a conference near Hope, NJ this week and enjoyed my one night stay at the Inn at Millrace Pond. It was a grist mill, built by the Moravians in the mid1700's, and the building I stayed in felt more like a tavern than an Inn. It had a large restaurant on the main floor, with narrow stairs leading... more
