Go to seascape every year, very relaxing! Beautiful view of Sandy Hook. Comfortable, pretty rooms. Excellent breakfast, especially the muffins! Excited to be there next month! Very close to great outdoor seafood restaurants.

First of all, this is an old, historic house. If you don't like old houses, this might not be the place for you. Secondly, they have animals--so if you don't like puppies and kitties, you should probably stay away. We like both and had a great time. We had the Hartshorne room and the view from the deck is worth... More

Although we were skeptical when we first arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with this wonderful bed and breakfast. It included many amenities such as wine, coffee, tea, and soda available 24 hours. A wonderful home cooked breakfast each morning that included homemade muffins with homemade jelly, fruit cup, a choice of 2 entrees and bacon, sausage, or ham. Decorated with... More

I rarely write reviews online, but feel I need to take them time to do this as a warning. The pictures on the website are most likely very old, and of course descriptions are totally subjective, as is this review. We were booked for the garden room. Upon entering you are overcome with the smell of mildew and some kind... More

Great vista from the deck and the room. Gracious hosts, good food and a thorough compliment of thoughtful amenities, including a loaner beach pass. A few good restaurants in the area, but all in all a somewhat sleepy local nightlife. The nearby ferry can also take you to NYC and back, or even Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket.

We enjoyed our one night stay here as a break from time in Manhattan and the ferry ride is a particular pleasure. The owners picked us up from the ferry port and showed us around the town and all the post hurricane work that has been done as well as the wide variety of restaurants. Room was comfortable but the... More

Bob & Gloria are terrific hosts at their gorgeous B&B. The house is very charming & comfortable & the views are stunning - on top of a hill, overlooking forest and ocean. We stayed in Precious Moments room: glorious views from the private deck & the oversized bathtub! They have bikes available free of charge & Gloria is like a... More

I just noticed that I didn't rate this B&B. We stayed here last summer for 2 nights. It took us a few minutes to locate the manor. You have to drive through a school parking lot to get to the driveway. The place was a bit out dated which gave it a quaint great-grandma's house appeal. The gentleman that co-own's... More

August 11-13, 2014 This was our first time staying at this B&B. We arrived before check-in and was graciously given a beach pass for the afternoon. We had good intention of riding our bikes back & forth to the beach, but once you get off the bridge from the beach, it is a constant incline up to the B&B. I... More

It’s all in the ambience. Appreciate this B&B for its location on the hillside, great view of Sandy Hook and beyond, and the complimentary wine, coffee, tea, and soft drinks encouraging you to relax in the sitting room or out on the deck with a glass of something you enjoy in your hand. This homey B&B has a cozy sitting... More
