This was the WORST hotel I have stayed at in the US. I cannot believe this was a HILTON hotel. The front desk gave us an occupied room when we checked in. Imagine my surprise when I walked into the room and someone else's belongings were already there. I could have easily taken that person's personal items without their knowledge.... more

Our group of 60 people had 32 rooms and the following problems: Keys did not open doors. There was no shampoo and conditioner in some rooms. Their first floor rooms were so noisy they could not sleep. The staff promised breakfast in the main dining room but changed it 1 week before check-in. They made the group eat in Salon... more

I'm a Hilton Silver (Marriott Plat) traveler. This is just not a good hotel. The "lounge" is an embarrassment, the bathtub water would take 2hrs to drain. It's in the middle of some industrial wasteland, right by the highway. FAR from NYC -- do not stay here if you have business in the city. Did not like at all. Front... more

Stayed for a week long training seminar. Good size room with a nice work area. Extremely quiet room. Meals from restaurant decent enough, but breakfasts, lunches and refreshment provided during training day were excellent. more

Our business has an office nearby so we have lots of people who stay here often. A few weeks back, a colleague was staying here, and the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night for no reason. They evacuated the hotel until they figured out it was a false alarm. These things happen obviously. Then tonight, I... more

3.5 days training program. Excellent buffet breakfast. Restaurant food also good, but not a lot of choice, got tired of the food for lunch and dinner as we did not go off-site any day. Nice meeting rooms although very cold with good break area that changed up throughout the day with very tempting treats. Guest rooms are spacious, very comfortable... more

I've stayed at this hotel about six times in the past year, as I have family nearby and business in Manhattan. It's not hard to take the hotel's shuttle van down to the Essex St. train station (3-5 minutes drive) and then the NJ Transit into NY Penn St. (thru Secaucus, total about 40 minutes, $5.50). This Hilton isn't the... more

For a Hilton, it was ok. Room was nice, bathroom and shower were nice, bed was comfy, room service was adequate, and for the most part it was a decent stay. Exercise room was decent, some of the machines TVs didnt work, but the equipment was new and worked well. The biggest complaint was the noise level. Very loud noise... more

I stayed here on the last night of a weeklong business trip in the NE. Generally the experience was good, amenities and cleanliness up to the usual Hilton standard. Dining room staff were friendly, but the lady behind the desk at check-in was very surly and refused to smile. Might be a New York thing, I don't know, but she... more

Great Hotel, we were not expecting much based on some reviews however we thought we would give it a try since the Hampton Inn we usually stay at in the area was for some reason more expensive. We were pleasantly surprised. Nice room with comfortable bed, great large workout room with individual tv's at each piece of equipment and a... more
